Disappointing Return to KC’s Classic Burger Bar – Serious Cleanliness Concerns (seems like a great place for a food born illness)

I recently visited the original KC’s Classic Burger Bar location in North Attleboro after several years away. I was excited to return and enjoy a burger and a shake with my girlfriend, especially because I have a soft spot for small, locally owned businesses. I believe I once met the owner, Casey, who told me that her family helped her get started in the restaurant business. I’ve always respected that kind of effort and was glad to support it again. I understand there’s now a second location in Seekonk, though I haven’t been to that one yet.

Unfortunately, the visit was disappointing due to very noticeable and concerning cleanliness issues.

As soon as we entered the breezeway—not even the main restaurant—I was hit with a strong, foul odor that reminded me of rotting food or garbage. That was the first red flag. We continued inside, but the floor was sticky with every step, and visibly dirty. Bits of food, trash, and straws were scattered throughout the dining area—some fresh, some dried and hardened—making it clear that cleaning is not being done regularly or thoroughly.

When we sat down, my girlfriend, who was wearing shorts, mentioned that her skin was sticking to the booth. The red vinyl seats were heavily discolored with grime, and clearly hadn’t been wiped down in some time. Combined with the worsening smell in the restaurant, we quickly decided to leave without ordering.

It’s disappointing to see a place with so much potential decline like this. If it’s a staffing issue, that’s understandable to a point—but as the owner, if the right staff can’t be found, maybe it’s time to roll up your sleeves and mop your own floors. Customers notice when the basics aren’t being taken care of.

I truly hope this feedback is taken seriously, because with some effort, KC’s could return to being a place I’d be happy to recommend. But as it stands now, I...

Y’all, if you haven’t been to KC Classic Burger in Attleboro, MA, you are missing out! I’ve been around the block with my restaurant reviews, and let me tell you, this place hit all the right spots in my heart AND my stomach! 🥰🍔

First off, the ambiance is EVERYTHING. Picture this: cute, cozy diner vibes with leather booths and walls decked out in classic car memorabilia 🚗💨. It’s like stepping into a retro time machine that brings you right back to those feel-good, all-American vibes. Trust me, this is the spot for a burger night you won’t forget.

Now, the music? Baby, it was karaoke classics the whole night—think Whitney Houston, Roy Orbison, and The GuessWho to set the mood 🎤. My boyfriend and I were living our best lives, serenading each other like we were on stage at a sold-out concert (don’t judge, lol) 🎶.

But what really made the experience next level was our server, Amy! She was an absolute gem ✨. Amy was on point the entire time, taking care of our every need and even suggesting menu items that had my tastebuds doing a happy dance 💃🏽💃🏽. I can’t stress enough how important it is to have a server who gets you, and baby, Amy gets it!

Now for the main event... the burgers. Y’all, I’ve been to a LOT of burger spots, but I’m not playing when I say this might just be the best burger in town 😩. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked – KC really knows how to make a burger that will make you forget every other joint you've been to. It's that good. Run, don't walk to KC Classic Burger if you’re tired of the same old spots and need a burger that’s got soul and flavor 🔥.

So if you’re in the area or passing through, do yourself a favor and stop by KC Classic Burger. I promise, you won’t regret it. This spot checks all the boxes, and I can’t wait to go back...

Came here because of all the positive reviews, sadly we did not have the same experience. Sat down, waiter took our order, everything was as expected. I ordered myself a shake that the waiter never came back and brought. Another staff member had checked on us and I had to remind her to bring my shake. 30 minutes go by and we have still not received our food. Waiter comes over asking us to repeat our order because “the kitchen has been mixing up our order” so I’m assuming our order was never made when we first got our orders took. Our burgers finally come to our table, however, I had to send mine back because I asked for no bacon or bacon jam. Since we waited long enough, I kindly told them to keep the burger and I’ll just eat the fries. A different waiter comes back a minute later with the same burger but without bacon. I think that’s unacceptable because you can’t simply remove the ingredient and expect the customer to say okay. Imagine if I was allergic, luckily it was just religious reasons I don’t eat bacon. For some reason it took another 5 minutes for someone who I am assuming is the owner to come back with the fries that I asked for. She tried to ask if I wanted a regular burger instead and stated that the reason the burger had bacon is because the kitchen didn’t know as if I didn’t specify that I don’t eat bacon. If I order a burger, I want the burger I ordered not a plain burger or something else. How would that make me satisfied? On the other hand, my friends burger was not pleasant at all and he had spit it out. He ended up taking it in a to go box to be nice. Overall, I would not recommend and I will not be eating...

Step back in time into this cute burger joint! I drive by this place every day on my way home from work, one day my husband and I were in Attleboro when we talked about grabbing food. I recommended KC's as some of my coworkers had recommended it to me. We pulled up, so happy they have parking stretching behind the building. Walked in and were seated promptly. We both opted to get root beer floats. They thought of just about everything as our floats we given to us on a napkin lined plate. The ice cream was suspended over the root beer and once it fell in the foam spilled over. Having the plate there made the what would be a messy situation into a contained one. Anyways, I tried to be a little adventurous with the apps since everything sounded good but my husband really wanted mozzarella sticks and I'm glad we did. They were some of the best mozzarella sticks we ever had, crispy, not greasy with an insanely good cheese pull! For our burgers I got the Elvis (told you I was trying to be adventurous) while my husband opted for the Rise n Shine. I was surprised how much I loved my burger the fried banana worked really well with the PB&j sauce and burger, definitely cut in half before eating, these burgers are biiig! My husband enjoyed his burger as well the only thing he wished his egg was still runny or that there was more bacon mayo since he said it was a tad dry but he would still get it again. We were busting at the seams or we would have opted to grab dessert. Service was great throughout. The decor was very vintage car centric which explains the groups of bikers and classic cars you see out front on occasion. Will go again!

KC’s Burger Bar In North Attleboro has to be one of the best burger joints I’ve ever been, I’ve driven by it plenty of times but never stopped in until now, and we’ve been here 3 more times since! From the retro diner feel of the outside and inside of the building, to the friendly waitresses and excellent service, this is a must visit for burger aficionados and anyone looking for their new “regular” place to get great priced, perfectly cooked, and very fresh and delicious meals, especially the burgers and the “spiked” shakes! The burgers are the real draw here and they have plenty of options, some more tame than others, but go all out and get the Elvis burger or try the breakfast burger with the most genius hash brown patty added to the egg and burger, see, nobody has come out with this and it works perfectly because it ensures the burger doesn’t get soggy by the egg, keeps everything together and is quite possibly the best burger I’ve had! The spiked shakes are fantastic too, let the waitress recommend one for you as they’ve done for us and you won’t be disappointed. The food comes out quick, the waitresses are very friendly and customer service oriented and fun, and the atmosphere is straight out of what I would imagine a 50’s/60’s diner would look like. I can’t recommend this place enough although now the cats out of the bag and I’ve now given up our new regular place to go! Enjoy!
