Quan's Kitchen — Restaurant in North Attleborough

If i could give this 0 stars I would. I’m never ever one to complain as I come from customer service & the food industry. Tonight I tried Quans Kitchen for the first time as House of Fortune is our usual place… well the food and service was quite the disappointment. I ordered two combination plates and a lo mein. The only things edible / worth the money was the rice (white rice & pork fried rice and the lo mein) I got three different types of chicken and they were either soggy or rubbery. The spareribs were all fat and no meat to even eat at that point. I called the restaurant to explain what my experience was and didn’t even say I wanted a refund or anything, I simply asked what they do in this situation for there customers. The man who answered barely would let me speak and when I explained my concern he would tell me no and LAUGH. He asked where I usually eat and I said House of Fortune and he laughed out loud and told me I was wrong and I would need to send him pictures and if he doesn’t believe that what I was saying is even true then he wouldn’t do anything. Telling me I am wrong, not letting me even speak, telling me i’m lying and that they have the best food around for 21 years. I told him I’m not dissing his restaurant or any restaurant, i’m simply asking what he does in this situation for his customers and telling him my first experience here. What happened to this place? Used to love the service, the food (and the portions), but after making reservations for a Saturday night; this was about all that went right. Server asked if we would like to order drinks - ordered tea; server then walked away before I could even ask to place an appetizer order! Came back, put in our app order then walked away again! We were hoping to place a drink order, but didn't get to (even when our app order came)! Server came, my party ordered "A "drink, server again walked away without asking anyone else! Drink came - server walked away! Finished appetizer, waited at least 10 minutes until another waiter stopped by to see if we needed anything; said yes - we'd like to place our order. Original server decided to get back in, and we decided we'd had about enough. Anyway, placed dinner and sushi order - and were told that we could have our meal but the sushi would take another 20 minutes! Did what they could to make it right, but oddly enough; even the portions seemed light! Tried to apologize with a free ice cream treat! At that point, seemed a little too late! Still tipped my usual 20%, but left LESS THAN SATISFIED!! I think it'll be a while before I get back there! VERY...

I'm not sure if like the rest of the country Quan's is short staffed or lacking talent, but they have gone waaaaay down hill. I ordered Pad Thai, extra peanuts and limes. It was just noodles, chicken and peanuts. The noodles were over cooked, and I never received the limes. The sauce had no taste. Their crab Rangoon's are usually delish, but mine were undercooked and dripping with oil. The spicy green beans were not their usual spicy and the actual beans were also under cooked. I'm giving them 1 star because I order from them all the time, and have never complained or had a problem. When I called to give them feedback they could care less. In fact the person on the phone said well I didn't have any limes. I replied, not even at the bar? Then the excuse was well, I never charged you for the limes anyway. ? Limes usually come with Pad Thai... Quan's is not a cheap dinner out. I'm happy to go to my other favorite place Chang Du instead of wasting my money and food at an establishment that clearly could care less about the quality of their product and...
