This was the worst service I have ever received from a sub shop. I ordered a large Buffalo Chicken Sub with grilled onions and ranch and blue cheese on the side. I received a medium sub with two Caesar dressings on the side and was charged for a large at $9.65. I then called back and asked how much for a large buffalo chicken sub. The lady on the phone said $9.45. I then said I just got charged for a large and received two Caesar dressings and no blue cheese and no ranch. She said I did receive a ranch and blue cheese and that they charged me for a medium but had to charge me extra for the onions and the side dressings. This was not on the receipt. All the receipt said was that I was charged $9.65 and didn't show charges for onions and dressing. I said why did I not receive a large which is what I ordered. The lady then got so rude and acted like it was my fault. This is customer service? This was the first time ever I was charged for vegetables on a sub. Also, I was not told the dressings would be extra when I ordered. The lady never asked if they could bring me a large with the correct sides and take back the medium. They didn't offer me anything. I also cannot believe they gave me Caesar dressing then tried to tell me it was one blue cheese and one ranch. They treated me like I was dumb and don't know what Blue Cheese and Ranch taste like. I will never go back to this place. They are so rude. And when I told her I would accept what they gave me today but I will not go back she replied saying " its okay". Really? I am a former sub shop owner myself and I would never treat a customer like this. I am only giving 1 star because I had to. I couldn't give zero stars. Just to let everyone know I do not like to give bad reviews and in fact this is my first bad review I have ever given to an...

Note: This review is based on a single Turkey grinder, so the star rating may or may not change on the next visit.

Another place I've passed by in my life more times than I can remember. This time Rico's was right in view at 6PM on a day I had yet to eat. Hunger took the wheel and parked me at Rico's front door.

I was in a sensible (sort of) frame of mind. Ordered a large turkey sub with provolone and the works. When the counter kid said $14-something something it struck me as a little pricey, even in the current economy. Maybe they were trying to fund a facelift for the outside...

Then he handed me a very long sandwich - less than five minutes later - and I changed my mind. Started to wonder if I'd been under-charged.

It was big.

How big? Sixteen Inches big. Stuffed with turkey and all the grinder-fixings on a gorgeous roll. Super nice, chewy-soft bread.

Rico's is of the "Chopped Toppings School" of sandwich making. Usually I am not a fan - I prefer sliced tomatoes, onions, etc because they don't roll out of the sub. Rico's chops the topping on the small side, however, and they do a good job staying inside.

All in all it was a banging grinder. Moist turkey slices and lots of them. Just the right touch of mayo. I'm sold - check back here after I've had a pizza or chicken parm. Probably same time...

Subs are not bad. The customer service.... always rude. Hands me wrong sub and when I asked if it was medium or larger she co fronted me with an attitude. It's what you ordered. I replied I ordered a larger not this medium. She then said it's your buddies sub not yours with a very distasteful look on her face. Mumbled all the way back to grab my sub and handed mine to me and said this is yours. I thanked her. She also mumbles about people which I think is horrible. There was a mother and daughter who asked to get a pizza to go and to have fries and tenders for there, she messed up and brought it opposite way and when the daughter asked for a box she said you told me that was for here the daughter said it is ok and she mumbled all the way back to get plates and box. Talking to the others behi d the counter. How about you keep your mouth shut lady and just do your job. You mess it up every time I'm In there. Stop being rude there is a reason you have worked here well I to your...

This place was alright! I got an American grinder and curly fries. The fries were awesome, but the sandwich didn't have salami in it which was a bit of a bummer. The taste was really good though and the bread was super fresh. I'd definitely order from here again.

Classic Greek-style pizza spot! Good pizza, great subs and calzones, chicken fingers, curly fries, and mozzarella sticks all excellent. The BJ sub/wrap/calzone is a monster, just make sure you’re calling the North Attleboro Rico’s and not the Walpole one!
