Attempted to come here to get a custom cake order for our daughters first birthday. We were looking forward to it since Whisk & Paddle made the cake for my baby shower last spring. However, upon arrival to the bakery we were met with dismissive and rude attitudes. We wanted a small cake so our daughter could “smash” it on her first birthday which is on may 14th but were immediately dismissed without asking any detail. We were told that they weren’t taking custom orders until the 15th. Literally ONE DAY after the pick up date we had told them. I can understand being booked and not being able to take our order, but the abrupt and unfriendly attitude was extremely disappointing. They didn’t even inquire about what it was we were looking for. Sadly it was pretty simple…if it were my bakery, I would have done anything I could to try to make it work or at least provide other options for the sake of customer service. I saw they had great reviews with pictures I went on the website and it was so easy to make the order online!

Once I did that I got an email very shortly after to discuss details which was great I provided a picture and put some key details like heavy in the frosting.

I picked it up at the bakery. It was very cute inside helpful staff lots of treats on display! They packaged everything up so nice for me and it was perfect. The frosting as requested nice and thick and sugary. It was my husbands birthday and he was impressed and said it was delicious which I agree so good!
