I’m not a picky eater and came in excited to try something new. I ordered the Army Stew for $18.99, but the menu didn’t include clear pictures or ingredient details. When the dish arrived, I was shocked to find that the “meat” inside was spam and hot dogs.
Here’s the thing — if the menu actually called it “Spam and Hot Dog Stew” and priced it at $18.99, do you really think many people would order it? I wouldn’t have. That’s why clear descriptions are so important, especially for less familiar dishes.
That being said, the broth was excellent, the vegetables and rice were fresh, and the sides were delicious. My wife had the seafood pancake, and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
