Passion at Midnight Macarons — Restaurant in North Canton

What a delightful find. Recently we needed a thoughtful gift for someone that had a recent operation. Macarons are a favorite of the recipient so we decided to find some locally. We stopped in the shop early am and was cheerfully greeted by Seth the owner. While suffering from a horrible migraine, he eagerly explained to us our different options and was proud to show us all of his creations. He helped us create the perfect assortment for the gift and gladly offered delivery for us. Also very helpful in selecting the proper items to fit in with food allergy. The macarons were very tasty, light and tasted just like what we had while visiting Paris. This small business is a true gem to have right in the community. SO GOOD!! I went after school with high expectations from the reviews I had read and they did not disappoint at all. The man who served me (the owner I think) was so so so sweet he offered me a sample a lemon curd that was amazing and I don’t even like lemon very much. He was so generous he also gave me an extra macaron and he was so happy and cheerful it made me happy. You could just tell he loves his job and he is very good at it. It is the only bakery I have found that makes French macarons that are not refrigerated or frozen (and yes it makes a huge difference in texture and flavor). The baklava was brimming with layers of nuts and the focaccia bread was amazing as well. I do have a soft spot for homemade cannolis and creme brulee as well. The service and quality was impeccable and Seth (the owner) is very personable and knowledgeable. It’s like talking to someone you have known for years.
