I took my fiancé here during a slow time to get some ice cream. My butterscotch milkshake was awesome. There was just a couple of people in there when we arrived. The people behind me received their milkshake and left so I figured they were easier to make about 10 minutes later a large group came in and proceeded to get ice cream, including Sundays so I asked about my Peanut butter brownie sundae and was assured by the individual who took my order that they were on it. Seven more people got served, and I went up and asked for my money only to be told “chill dude you’ll get it. “If this individual had been as attentive to our order as he was to flirting with the staff, this would’ve never happened. I would like to give this place another chance when we come back but very disappointed in the customer service for an establishment with 45 years in business. No one apologized for the oversight and no one came up to act as the leader of this crew. They were unable to return our money or find the ticket even though I handed them the receipt so we took two of your Handmade drumsticks instead. I’d be happy to pay you the one dollar difference if the owner would be willing to reach out to me personally to discuss...
Read moreThis place is a really cool (ha!) spot and the personality of it can really be appreciated in an place where there's a lot of blending in. I love that you can get things like adult (alcoholic) shakes and ice cream flights which expand the breadth of creativity of how you can get your ice cream. The portions are tremendous as well, which is always appreciated especially when the ice cream is tasty, as it is at Pav's. My one knock (despite the prior compliment), however, is that they are almost trying to accomplish too much: offering waffles to be topped and other baked goods, or twenty different type of sundae, or savory foods to be enjoyed on the premises. These things are convenient, but take attention away, I feel, from ice cream and it's production and so while I can get Bailey's in my chocolate shake (which is cool), I can't be shown one of the thirty flavors that they have available because there isn't a counter space that showcases it (even though it feels so necessary!).
Overall, however, I would absolutely recommend this place to any friends in the area as...
Read moreMy husband and I are regulars to Pavs North Canton due to their great location and decent prices; however, their service is extremely unwelcoming. Most times we have visited we shake our heads as we overhear cashiers discuss their nights out partying with no attempt to make the conversation private. Additionally, customers in line are treated as an inconvenience and usually with a rude demeanor which then the rest of the staff laughs about. Previously, as we waited for our to go items we witnessed the staff blatantly mocking an adolescent customer for the way he was dressed. Pavs Creamery North Canton is a great place to go for ice cream, but this sort of immature behavior takes away from an otherwise...
