Blue Door Deli & Market — Restaurant in North Carolina

Had a wonderful experience today at the Blue Door Deli. I have ordered sandwiches to go before and was very satisfied. Trying to decide what to order is the biggest challenge about the restaurant in my opinion. We were returning home from vacation so not in a hurry and dined in. We ordered a head of time and it was ready shortly after we arrived and paid. (Also... received a promotional text from them earlier that morning for a free ice cream cone which we shared before we left.) I ordered the Cane Creek Club with macaroni salad and my other half got the Rea View Rubin with cole slaw. The sandwiches looked amazing and tasted that way too! We sampled each others, and couldn't decide which one we like the best. We got there during the peak lunch time. But everything went very smoothly and management was very upbeat and organized. We just had a really nice experience which was great way to end our vacation. Next time I think we will go for the Breakfast. I look forward to making this a regular to go to in...

Sorry, this missed the mark. When I was handed my bag that was supposed to have 3 sandwiches I was thinking there was another bag to come. Even though there were 2 sandwiches in there, it weighs less than 1 true NY sandwich. Why did I think this? Because this cost $22. The one sandwich was maybe a half inch high and didn’t have enough meat to cover the bread. They also charged me 10.99 which was supposed to be 8.99. Kind of glad they missed the third sandwich. It may just be me since everyone seems to love this place but as an Italian from Long Island, I wasn’t feeling the like home vibe. Tell me if you ever saw anything like this coming out of NY, the plate is a6 inch plate for reference. I’ll stick to Jersey...

A wonderful addition to downtown Waxhaw!

I stopped by for the first time today in between meal rushes and ordered a simple bacon, egg, and cheese bagel breakfast sandwich. The staff was personable and inviting, and kind and patient with me as I reviewed the menu for the first time, giving me good feedback and suggestions when I described what I sort of thing I wanted to order.

The food was exactly what I hoped for: a perfectly runny egg, melty cheese, good quality bacon, and a nicely toasted bagel. Best breakfast sandwich I've had in town since I moved here last summer, bar none.
