Gréco Fresh Grille - Waxhaw — Restaurant in North Carolina

I stopped in to place a takeout order on a Friday night. I love Greek/Mediterranean food. I ordered the traditional Greek salad with chicken kebab, a tiny side of Taziki and a side of pita. My order was quickly prepared, and the service was extremely friendly. When I got home, I found an abundance of cucumber, green peppers, purple onion and lettuce. The tomatoes were soggy and old, there were 4 sad little squares of feta and 3 Kalamata olives, and the chicken was ok. The very ingredients I consider necessary to make a salad “Greek”, were basically non existent in comparison to the rest of the basic salad ingredients. Luckily I had feta cheese in my refrigerator, so I added extra. The dressing was 90% oil and a tiny splash or red wine vinegar. I was quite disappointed. Customer service is awful! I order from here 1-2 times a week. Ordered a salad with extra dressing was charged for it got absolutely no dressing. I called and requested that they send me dressing or refund my money because who wants to eat a dry salad. I had it delivered due to not being able to leave work to get it. The manager said he could not deliver the dressing to call door dash and have them come back, it was not DoorDash fault that your restaurant left off something from the order. DoorDash would have charged me again to deliver the dressing. I explained this to the manager and he yelled at me that I could just get it the next time I ordered but that did nothing for the salad I ordered. I understand that things happen but you don’t raise your voice and interrupt people speaking. Was unable to eat the salad that I paid for and got nothing resolved except for the loss of any of future business...

This place is relatively new to me. I've only been here 3 times. The staff is very nice. My first trip here was great. There was one incident on a prior (2nd) trip when my lunch order came out way too late. I didn't have enough time to eat it before I had to leave. That aside, I'm still feeling this place out. The food tastes pretty good, and the pricing isn't at all terrible for the portion sizes.

Update 7/4/22: If you looking for something fresh in Waxhaw then Gréco Fresh Grille (it's in the name!) is the place to go. I enjoy the food, the atmosphere, and again, the staff is very nice. They'll take good care of you here. One more thing, their baklava...
