I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding an incident that occurred on September 10, 2025, at the Winterville Parkway location in Winterville, NC. While this incident took place today, I feel it is important to provide context from previous visits to the same restaurant.
Several months ago, I noticed an employee—who I believe to be a manager, as he was wearing a gray polo—interacting with children in a way that seemed unusual. Specifically, I observed him touching children’s backs and brushing hair from young girls’ faces. At the time, I found it odd but chose not to escalate the matter.
On a subsequent visit, my family dined in at this location. The same employee delivered our food to the table and, upon seeing my son, placed both hands on his cheeks, squeezed them, and commented that he was a “handsome boy.” I was shocked that a complete stranger felt it was appropriate to put his hands on my child, but I did not respond in the moment. The more I thought about it afterward, the more uncomfortable and upset I became.
Today, I visited the restaurant once more, hoping I may have overreacted previously. Unfortunately, my concerns were validated. I witnessed the same employee grab a young girl—approximately six years old—squeeze her cheek in the same manner he had with my son, and then kiss her on the cheek. I do not believe her mother witnessed this, but I did, and I found it highly inappropriate and distressing.
For reference, the individual in question appeared to be in his 50s, approximately 5’5” tall, medium build, balding on top with hair around the sides, and dark brown skin. I regret that I did not catch his name from his badge.
This pattern of behavior is deeply concerning, and for the safety and comfort of families, I respectfully request that this matter be addressed promptly. While I rarely submit complaints, this situation is unsettling enough that I feel compelled to bring it to your attention. At this time, my family and I have decided not to return to this location.

Its not the service that i love, i only love their food. that being said.... when i am forced to go driev thru, you MUST get a receipt, absolute must! almost every time i go drive thru, i am missing something! now, they dont give a receipt any more either, you have to ask them for one at the window, and they seem to always misplace them. alot of times some of them will get snippy with me and say " its taped on your bag." I have to explain that i want the receipt with the info on it, because i need it. Ive had a few of them get mad at me for this because now they have to either look where they put it, or find my order to print it. ever since the drive thru got so packed, parking here is also seemingly impossible, so we will see if their additional drive thru makes any difference on this.
