If you're on the hunt for a breakfast spot that takes the most important meal of the day to a whole new level, look no further than The Biscuit & The Bean. This charming establishment has truly mastered the art of breakfast, and I can't help but sing its praises.
From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon. The warm and inviting ambiance sets the stage for an unforgettable breakfast experience. The décor is a delightful blend of rustic and modern, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
Now, let's talk about the food – it's nothing short of extraordinary. Whether you're a traditionalist or an adventurous foodie, The Biscuit & The Bean has you covered. Their menu boasts a diverse selection of breakfast dishes that will cater to every palate. The portions are generous, and the ingredients are, in my opinion, fresh and high-quality.
One of my personal favorites is the Pancakes, a culinary masterpiece that combines the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The eggs are cooked to perfection from whatever style you want. And let's not forget the homemade muffins, which are the perfect accompaniment.
The omelet options are a dream come true for egg lovers. The B&B Burrito with Smoked Gouda is a must-try. It's light, fluffy, and bursting with savory goodness. Pair it with a side of their crispy hash browns, and you'll be in breakfast heaven.
For those with a sweet tooth, the pancakes or French Toast Pancakes are an absolute showstopper. The fluffy stacks of pancakes, drenched in sweet maple syrup and topped with fresh berries, are a symphony of taste and texture. This dish alone is worth the visit.
And did I mention the coffee? The Biscuit & The Bean takes their coffee seriously. The baristas craft a variety of coffee beverages that cater to all preferences, from a perfectly brewed cappuccino to a creamy, aromatic latte. It's the ideal companion to your breakfast feast.
The service at The Biscuit & The Bean is exceptional. The staff is not only attentive and friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They are more than happy to provide recommendations and ensure that every guest's needs are met.
Whether you're enjoying a leisurely breakfast with friends, a romantic brunch date, or a solo morning escape, The Biscuit & The Bean delivers an experience that you won't soon forget. The attention to detail, the delectable cuisine, and the warm ambiance make it a true gem in the world of breakfast restaurants.

Read moreUpon a recommendation from a friend, I decided to try The Biscuit & The Bean. We first tried ordering via Grubhub since it was listed as an option. The menu looked interesting and had some seemingly great options. After 15 minutes with no response, we called only to be told they don’t deal with them, sorry. Mediocre response at best. Since I am in the restaurant business myself, I understand the hassle Grubhub can bring. We decided it was a great excuse to go and visit the restaurant in person.
When we arrived around 1pm, we enjoyed the home feel yet modern twist of the decor. It seemed very clean and not very busy. We had obviously previewed the menu, but saw a few additions advertised when arriving. The first thing we tried to order, they were “out” for the day. No problem, so I asked about another breakfast option since it is advertised as all day. Unfortunately, we were informed they were not serving any breakfast items for the rest of the day. Keep in mind, they were 2 hours from their advertised closing time...so it was not last minute. Okay, round 3. Ordered a wrap and a sweet potato biscuit, and my company ordered a sandwich. They were having some register issues that required taking my card to the back to another register. Again, things happen. I understand that more than most, but the things were beginning to add up.
There was no ambient music playing, and there were business delegations happening on the floor that were distracting due to the lack of any other background noise. After waiting 10 minutes (which was fine, we were not in a hurry) we were informed they were out of ingredients ordered in the wrap. At this point, I was almost ready to leave. However, I chose a substitute item and hoped for the best. My iced latte I ordered was really good. The food that arrived was okay. The sandwich ordered had Granny Smith apple slices that still contained the core and seeds, though we didn’t realize this until taking a large bite. Portion was average, and presentation was fine. The biscuit was very dry, crumbly, and crusty. On a positive note, the chip vendor they use have wonderful chips!
Overall, it was a less than pleasant experience. There were a few highlights, but not enough to counteract the bad. The staff (lady taking our order and gentleman who served our drinks) was very nice and tried to be understanding. The woman I can assume was an owner/manager was flitting around but never made eye contact nor spoke with us during our visit, even though she sat a few tables away doing business tasks. We really wanted to enjoy and support a local establishment, but I don’t think we will visit again anytime soon. I see the potential, but the lack of organization and inventory management was...
Read moreI saw the great reviews on line, the atmosphere seemed very relaxing and inviting, and decided to grab a drink and grits before my class I was in town taking over the weekend. I really wanted to like this place as I love locally owned, small businesses and patronize them when I travel. I knew I was in trouble when I asked the young (appeared high school age) woman who waited on me if they brewed their own iced tea and she said 'sort of', and it took another young woman to finally answer the question. It was about 8:30 on 1.13.24, there were a lot of people in the restaurant, but I was the only one in the ordering line. I ordered an iced tea, and grits bowl. I was given my tea and numbered tag and took a seat near the wall; two ladies which I later found out were managers were sitting at the table next to the wall next to me. I watched staff carrying out some other customer's food to their table with absolutely no hurry or urgency. Not much food seemed to be leaving the kitchen at all. After :15 I asked one of these staff returning to the kitchen if they could check on my order as I would not think iced tea and grits should take that long. She never returned to tell me the status of my food. After another :10, and I was pressed for time now, I went to the cashier counter with my number and asked them to check on my food. They took my number and said they would check on it. I told them I did not have time to eat it there and to now make it to go. I waited another 5-10 minutes when I was finally handed my food. The number on the receipt for the order was not the same number I had been given when I ordered. When I ate the grits, cheese and bacon, it was very bland and had no flavor at all. I was extremely disappointed and will not come back here. I know restaurants have had difficulties over the last few years as I am from a restaurant family, but this is no way to run a business. I told all my classmates about my experience here and just do not see why there are such great reviews for this place.
I tried to call you at your request, but the phone mailbox was full and I could not leave a message. I didn't not call the other number as I will not chase you down. My number was the 703 ac on Feb 20th. You are welcome...
