I recently had a very disappointing experience at Subway, resulting in a subpar sub and an incredibly unpleasant encounter with the so-called manager. This was on 8/23 around 9:30 pm. The employee who prepared my sandwich did a horrendous job, leaving it extremely sloppy. I immediately reached out to the manager, or at least the person who claimed to be the manager on the phone, and it quickly became apparent that customer satisfaction was not their priority.
Firstly, the so-called manager refused to give me their name, which was an immediate red flag. It seemed evident that they had something to hide or simply lacked the basic courtesy to introduce themselves properly. This lack of transparency already set a terrible tone for our conversation.
Moreover, the individual, who I'll refer to as the "manager," displayed an astonishing level of disrespect and disregard for my concerns. Instead of showing any interest in addressing the issue or even listening to my feedback about the sub I received, they seemed uninterested and dismissive. It was as if they didn't care about the quality of their product or the satisfaction of their customers.
Though I attempted to explain the messiness of the sandwich and my disappointment with the overall experience, the "manager" seemed to unload all their frustration on me. Their tone was condescending and rude, clearly indicating that they did not value my opinion or care to rectify the situation. It was truly disheartening and showed a complete lack of professionalism on their part.
In summary, my poor encounter with Subway left me unsatisfied and craving for better customer service. The employee's sloppy sub preparation was bad enough, but the disrespectful and unhelpful "manager" truly took the whole experience to a new low. Not only was my order not ready when I arrived, which led to me waiting even longer for my sub to be made (which didn't happen until after they made another pickup order while that guest waited, as well)... but the employee seriously lacked customer service skills, and incorrectly made my sandwich on stale bread - both of which I didn't discover until I was home and finally getting to eat. No sauce on a sub, especially a sub with bread that isn't fresh and therefore more dry, made for an unpleasant meal. I'm not sure what the issue was, as they weren't even busy nor was my order difficult, but I am so disappointed in this recent visit to this location. Two stars instead of one, because the rest of the ingredients on my sub, as well as my cookies, were satisfactory.

Yesterday, I placed an online order for pickup at this location, and had a pleasant experience.
I arrived fairly soon before my order was said to be ready, but didn't go in until just a few minutes before the time I was given. I walked up to the pickup spot, told the employee my name, and they handed my order to me, which was ready on the counter behind them. Quick and easy!

This was about 1hr 30min before closing They couldn’t even refund me and the person in charge gave up trying to come up with a solution. One of the new employees suggested I come in the next day to pick up my subs and guaranteed me they would make them. So I went home without a refund or food and had to trust they would keep their word and that the employee would show up the next day. A 30 min drive out the way but a solution nonetheless I was thankful for her quick thinking. I tried to give them another chance by ordering via the app a second time a week later and when I showed up it wasn’t ready either even though the app said it was and I had to go through my order in person with an employee and have them build it on the spot completely defeating the purpose of ordering ahead but at least a walked out of there with my sandwiches this time.
