My wife has just a few minutes ago posted a review reflecting the unsatisfactory interactions that herself and I have continuously had at the local tropical smoothie store near our house and now we will give the feedback as to what changes needs to made and how. In her previous review she expounded on the problems as we have experienced them in detail but as most things go nothing is ever perfect and we personally do not expect it to be. So we do hope that the previous things that my wife mentioned in a positive light will be noticed as well as they are just as true. We would like to encourage the staff at this location to start hiring serious, committed, customer service proficient, reliable, quick and friendly, mindful and professional employees across the board in all positions. This Tropical smoothie establishment has the potential to be a great local store to get a healthier and tastier refreshment and food of choice if the core of the business was meeting the above criteria for the customer first and foremost before the amount of profit that could be made. Basically saying that quality in all aspects is the driving force behind any and all successful businesses. Quantity however being the corner stone or foundation to any company will not thrive nearly as well or as long. My wife has an extensive background in the food industry as well as customer service and managment. Because of her trade knowledge, experience and skills she is very useful in the various ways of trying to give helpful feedback to see any business grow in their success in all areas and wants to see her favorite place to visit daily for her smoothies continue to improve and remain established for this community. But to accomplish this task there must be changes made quickly and kept as the consistent objective daily with every customer every time. We are open to conversation or feedback as well if there is anything we can offer to help to make a positive difference at this location or any other. Read moreI never have a problem with this tropical smoothie location, but the service I received today wasn’t thoughtful. Firstly, when I walked into the restaurant, no one greeted me. Secondly, when I approached the register, the cashier didn’t ask me if I had a rewards app and automatically assumed I wanted my order to-go. I was trying to get the deal for a free smoothie. Thirdly, it felt like she was rushing me to finish ordering. Once I got my order, the detox smoothie I ordered didn’t taste right and I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich( which was cold in some areas.) a few minutes later, I went back inside so I can get a refund on the smoothie as it was supposed to be a free one. Again- no one acknowledged me or said anything to me. I ask for the manager and a young Hispanic lady approaches me. I explain that I was trying to get the free smoothie offer, and she states that I can’t because I already ordered my smoothie. Read moreI have been a big Tropical Smoothie advocate since moving to Greenville 5 years ago until recently, on June 29th I purchased through their app for the first time after an employee recommended it. HORRIBLE IDEA!! Beware of ordering through their app. I purchased mine and my fiancé’s typical meal and it duplicated my order and charged me TWICE! $42 total. I spoke with an employee who was completely understanding and helpful up until a point. She said they can not refund anything without the owner. So after taking my information she promised to get it taken care of. I sent in proof via her texting me that it charged me not once but twice and was assured it would be refunded. Two weeks later, nothing. 4 phone calls, 3 to the store and once to the customer service line and NOW another 2 weeks later NOTHING has been fixed. Never heard from the owner even though my information was taken down SEVERAL times. Horrible customer service and they STOLE from me.
