Our family has been here many times but last night Thursday Nov 6 was the absolute worst. Most menu items we've ordered in the past were "decent" however last night was different. Service is always hit or miss and last night we figured out why. Management. Wow! 'Mo' the manager was completely unprofessional and unbelievably rude regarding a take out order we placed after dining in. The take out we ordered was supposed to be a sausage dog but it looked like a regular hot dog on a wet bun. It came out cold, no toppings, no condiments of any kind, the side tossed in there was greasy & soggy & overall absolutely unappealing looking. We asked the waitress to confirm this was an actual sausage dog, she took it back, returned and said yes. We asked to have it removed from our order for obvious reasons. She said "I was told you still have to pay for this because it's what you asked for." My husband spoke with manager 'Mo' and was rudely approached with the same response "you ordered it, you pay for it." My husband said "you are really going to be this unreasonable" and 'Mo' said "are you treating me?" Lol-Lol. My husband has never threatened anyone in his life and is the most soft spoken individual. 'Mo' seemed to want this to escalate and the situation to be more of a problem than it actually was. Any 'normal' professional manager and/or establishment would have comped the untouched take out meal. As I said we dined in and was paying for our eaten meals with no issue. This was an Unappetizing looking untouched take out. What was the big deal? The experience with 'Mo' was shocking and completely unnecessary and unacceptable. There are many other restaurants in the area to choose from and we will now take our business elsewhere. It was a completely shocking experience that changes our perception of them, their establishment and quality of their food. Word of mouth means a lot to people. We absolutely will not dine here...
Read moreI have no idea why it’s taken me all these years to leave a 5 star review of The Clubhouse Restaurant Bar & Grill. I’ve been eating at this establishment for nearly 25 years and have brought along my extended family, friends and business associates. I am also comfortable alone, as a female, in this family run sports bar/restaurant. The quality of food and the variety of foods WOW are second to none in the 40/42 area. From comfort foods, bar type favorites, wings, salads, steaks, Italian, sandwiches, wraps…. the options are endless. I’ve literally never had a bad meal, appetizer or dessert. Yum! They offer remarkably fast lunch specials as well for people trying to get in and out quickly on their lunch breaks. The prices are very reasonable for someone on a budget and portions generous. The owners take great pride in offering new specials daily and change up the menu from time to time as well as the lay out of the restaurant itself. It’s fun to see what changes they come up with and the fun seasonal and holiday decorations. Always a pleasure heading into the Clubhouse where the staff and owners treat you as family with their warm welcome and devotion to the community it serves. They are ALWAYS open rain, sun, sleet, snow….I’ve even ridden my four wheeler up during snowstorms! The outdoor seating is a fantastic option when the weather allows which is almost all of the time here in Garner. I highly recommend you check them out for a nice family sit down, a company gathering, a girls night out, or take in a football, baseball, nascar, hockey, golf, really any sporting event from the various tvs located throughout the bar and restaurant or try out their gaming room…. Whether you’d like to feel part of their Clubhouse family and community or you’re just passing through give them a try. I promise, you...

My wife and I went here after being told about it by the owner. We were assured that they were taking the health and safety of their customers seriously. We were told capacity had been reduced and all employees were wearing masks. This is not the case. While tables were reserved to help space out seats, when we wore our masks into the restaurant we were the only ones we could see doing so. If you are against masks, this is the place to go. We got looks the entire time we were from other patrons. We were about to stand up and leave when a waitress took our drink orders and since it took us a very long time to get there we decided to stay. The blocked tables seemed to be a nice gesture but they do not seem committed to protecting their customers. We were brought food that we did not order and we are suspicious that it was served to a different guest after they took it back. We are also suspicious they reused our dirty silverware rolls after we left. I have eaten at many mediocre restaurants like this that one that don't take cleanliness seriously, in fact I've worked at one before, but I no longer feel comfortable dining at establishments like this one and I cannot recommend it to anyone else.
The food was...
