This place is terrible I have been here two times in the past few months the last time I was here I went inside to place my order at the counter while I waited for my food this girl who was the waitress was apparently high on some drug so she was walking around in circles she kept pulling out her PAD as if she was about to take her order or add up something but was never doing none of the section it got so bad that the guy who was cooking started taking the orders from the people coming in verbally making the food while keeping some form of communication with the customer to keep the customer on Ice until he completed the order and then I had to even watch the cook step away from the grill to bag the food to give it to the customer I too was one of these people that encountered this terrible customer service from this drunken intoxicated employee it was a young African-American girl I will never forget her face if I see her again I will know her on the site and I will never spend a dime in any establishment I see her inI also take my hat off to the Cook he went over and beyond to make sure that the night shift that they were working continue to go smoothly even though he had to do more than I'm sure of what he signed up for when he applied to be a cook for waffle House to the African American community as well as to waffle House.
Now my second experience which just happened on yesterday I walked into the same waffle House of course I drove around the parking lot very slowly first because I wanted to make sure that that crackhead girl was still not working when I was convinced that she was not in there and I saw the new employees in their it looked like a full house so I was confident to go inside and place my order as I got inside now mind you this waffle House it's not in Raleigh's top five but it is close to my home so although I am used to eating at other waffle houses in the city I have popped up at this one twice because it is close to my home but after yesterday I will never make that mistake again either so as I proceeded to the counter a waitress comes walking up to the register with her pad and she is giving me the impression that she is about to take my order I knew exactly what I wanted and I was ready to tell her when she asked me how could she help me and I told her the item that I had came in the store to purchase she's going to tell me that if I don't place my order online or sit down and dine in that I can't be served immediately I was furious because once again I have eaten from multiple waffle houses I have never heard this before not to mention this waffle House only gets packed because the workers are slowit is not packed because it's popular the line gets held up so long waiting on waiters to do the right thing after the cook has completed the meal I have seen it with my own eyes and to now be subject to this type of service that is being rendered to the customers as well as in the end of the transaction if you make it to the end you are being charged a tip for the waitress I don't have a problem tipping them so the gratuity feet doesn't run me off but when I feel like I am not rendered the proper service of a regular customer spending my hard-earned money at this establishment to keep their money flowing as well it makes you not want to do business with that place at all so yesterday I walked out of a place that I always leave full from because this young girl did not want to ring me up for a grit bowl I looked her in her face and told her that they ought to be ashamed of themselves meanwhile the few other customers that were in there before me who had ordered online quote on quote they were still standing along the sides looking crazy because the wait for them was just as long as if they came in to sit down and eat once again to prove my point this place is not popularly packed because they do good business They are packed because they are slow this is just one more establishment in the Garner North Carolina area that I will never visit again I don't know what it is...

Which I understand this can be overwhelming for employees STILL Tayler if you are a server you should think that part of your income are Tips and Tips are earn base on your service I as a Customer am not obligated to give a Tip to server with attitude , rude and poor servicing skills. First of all clean the tables Well wipe down and syrup still on the table is not clean it’s poorly clean, second don’t be bringing to my table butter and créame left over by another table that’s it’s just nasty and unethical if a table leave anything unused it is consider trash. If you want to save on waste don’t serve like 10 creamers for 2 people or ask how many of each item but again don’t recycle unused items and if you do for GOD sake don’t do it right on my face. Third mention the options don’t assume because I ask for a cheesesteak omelet I want white bread and grits. I ask for just an omelet for a reason, Fourth don’t assume everyone use regular sugar because we don’t so there is need for a customer to have to ask for an alternative when you as a server can just bring it or ask ( at least that’s how other waffle houses we have visited and even this one in the past had done) Fifth Why a plate should have to sound when is place on a table like it’s thrown on a upset way , by the way saying hi and be kind won’t kill you it would actually make you earn and gain so much more you should practice it . I was so upset I couldn’t even enjoy my breakfast, and I know Covid had made a impact but let’s be realistic it’s a illness that affect your lugs , bad attitude and mood it’s not a side effect of it so I don’t think Covid had nothing to do, and if you are going through a situation is very simple to apologize and let know your customer your day haven’t been the best it happens it’s life we can understand when there is communication. The food was good that’s not a problem but any restaurant it’s move by the service more than by the food I can return to a place with not to great food if the service is great I can try something else next time but when the services sucks it make you think twice if you rather go somewhere else.

My worst restaurant experience. I encountered the rudest lady upon entering establishment. I was told I couldn't place a to go so I decided to sit at the counter. Young man came to take my order soon as I sat down. The rude lady began to reprimand him because he wasn't in his section. They began a little back and forth right in front of me, making me feel super uncomfortable. The rude lady complained the entire time even stating she was trying not to curse. She was yelling at her coworkers and 2 of them in front of me was complaining about her attitude as they washed dishes. I think the rude lady must have heard an employee call her mean because she responded I am not mean but assertive. I finally asked another worker if the rude lady was the manager as I watched her boss everyone around, to my surprise she was not. She was so mean to young guy that helped me I felt obligated to give him a $20 tip and told him to not let her discourage him. He was very nice and helpful, I don't want her to kill his energy. The rude lady was complaining so much, talking to herself, I started to just leave. I was ready to respond to her though she wasn't talking to me. I hate that I sat at the counter where she was working the register encountering her negative energy. The food: had to send bacon back they gave it to me burned like black burned. Had to send eggs back requested scramble but got fried and toast wasn't toasted. When I received second bacon one end was kinda raw, the other end well done. I didn't eat it.
I love Waffle House and had just eaten breakfast at a Waffle House in Charlotte. Food delicious, customer service excellent. To come home and have this experience super disappointing.
To the rude lady in the red hair scarf, I hope you read this. You are not assertive, you are mean. You made my breakfast experience so uncomfortable as I had to listen to you loudly complain about everything. I don't know how your coworkers...
