Bojangles — Restaurant in Clayton

Let me see if I can relive what should be a very simple order and process. Cashier dining or to go? Me chicken filet biscuit combo add egg and cheese and bo-arounds. Cashier do you want a sandwich? Me no biscuit! Cashier what was your 2nd order? Me nothing I just ordered one combo! Cashier chicken filet biscuit with bo-rounds and Icetea to go. Me plus egg and cheese… I get my change and move to the other end of the counter. I see the order behind me come out now I see my order going on a tray. Reminder I said to go… Both rounds on the tray and waiting for a biscuit. No drink handed over yet. A couple minutes in and 2 other orders go buy me I ask where is my biscuit? We are cooking eggs. As I see eggs being pulled out of the container and put on other biscuits. I ask a another young lady to please get my biscuit. Quickly I biscuit comes across the counter. I asked the young man to put my stuff in a bag reminder this is to go. Hands it over and says have a nice day. I ask where is my drink? You get a drink he says. Yes look at the receipt. Now he has to jockey for position at the drink counter with the little old lady who don't wanna move because that's her job to get my drink… If folks would just listen and pay attention life would move so much better in the...

I went through the drive thru today and I'm not familiar with this restaurant. When ordering it was very hard to hear. I ordered the new bojangler fish sandwich because it sounded good on TV. However, I didn't expect it to be so spicy a main reason I rarely eat here. Also the tartar sauce was overpowered with pickle which is unusual for tartar. When asked the gentleman asked for my 2 sides. Not being familiar I trusted this and ordered mashed potatoes then fries. At no time did the gentleman mention it was only 1 side and correct me to check that I wanted something extra. I also asked for very little ice in my iced tea. When I got to the window I was told I asked for the extra side. I didn't raise a fuss but was upset. Then as I started my drink there was excessive ice and almost no tea. When I checked the receipt the requested little ice wasn't listed. Due to everything being excessively spicy including the new sandwich, the drink order being wrong and being overcharged because I "added" something extra which wasn't the case I won't...

I love Bojangles... usually. The food is almost always top notch and hits the spot. But I went to this location 2x in a row and I can honestly say that I will NOT be back. First time I waited at the counter for 15 minutes!! For Bo-rounds. Even though I was standing right there, it was like I was forgotten, while the rest of my order sat there on that cold stainless steel counter. By the time I got my entire order, the only thing that was warm was my tea. I was offered a cinnamon twist thing for my patients. This whole time the manager was just walking back and forth, complaining about customers. I went back a day later, not by choice, but because my coworkers wanted to go. The wait and quality of food was better, but between the girl taking drive through orders and that same manager, it was a complete drama show.
