I have had multiple bad experiences here. I’ve worked in the fast-food industry myself, so I am normally very empathetic and understanding of the workers. Unfortunately, the workers were extremely rude and lazy. In one instance, after ordering through the drivethru, my boyfriend and I asked the cashier if it was too late to add a quesadilla to our order, and we clarified that it was fine if they could not. The cashier responded with something similar to “I mean, we can….” in a very annoyed voice. I would have rather he just said “no” if it was gonna be such a big deal, but we said thank you anyways and were appreciative that they still did it. When they handed us our food, I asked for sour cream, thinking it would be a free, small package of sauce just like every other fast food store. However, I was incorrect, because when we asked for the sour cream, the cashier sighed in esaxperation, and a girl who was working behind him said to him “from now on, no more add-ons, I can’t keep doing it.” We immediately felt bad (even tho she wasn’t talking to us) because we didn’t want to inconvenience them, and if we had known that it wasn’t free, we would not have gotten it. The cashier handed us the sour cream and then told us the price, holding his hand out for the money. Not wanting to inconvenience them again, we quickly paid again for the sour cream and then left. Their customer service was very unprofessional. If the cashier had simply told us that the sour cream was not free, they wouldn’t have been inconvieneced by us asking for it and having to do another “add-on.” The second instance happened today. We ordered in the drivethru again (I made sure to ask for the sour cream at the first menu window this time) and we pulled up to the cashier window and grabbed our food no problem. However, when we sat to eat and opened the bag, I discovered that the sour cream container barely had any sour cream in it. You could see the bottom of the cup and the sour cream didn’t even fill up half of it. Normally, I wouldn’t care that much about these things, but the fact it wasn’t free and you’re charged almost a $1 for it makes it even more ridiculous because you’re not getting what you paid for. The first time we ordered the sour cream, the cup was filled to the top like it was supposed to be. It just goes to show how lazy and unprofessional the workers are that they can’t even fill a cup with sour cream all the way. Their rude and unprofessional attitude is the...
Read moreFirst cookout I ever tried and I have been here many, many times. Always good, fresh food that tastes great. Thought I don't live in the area anymore, it's always tempting to stop by whenever I'm around. Thanks for all the great lunch soon and dinners!
Edit : I wrote this review a little over a year ago and since then this cookout has gone completely downhill. I don't know what changed but after tonight I refuse to return here. I have given them multiple chances to do better. The milkshake we ordered was once again just liquid with no ice cream to speak of, they took 20 minutes after we got to the window to get our food, granted they were busy which I understood and was fine with until the cashier asked me what my order was. They not only forgot but lost what I ordered which only made me wonder how long I had been sitting there while they tried to figure it out. The old west style burger, once again, has no BBQ sauce and they, once again, burned it. They also didn't give us any BBQ sauce or honey mustard on the side despite asking twice. I will not be returning for a very long time, which is disappointing because I have been going here for...
Read moreWhile I normally enjoy cookout food...the process to order is intense. They are always busy and their menu boards are not easy to figure out. When ordering I quickly had to decide and a big double and the. Was asked how I wanted it. This was not meant to be answered with well done or medium but rather as one of their specific ways. Eventually I saw something that said "cheddar style" and went with that. They just want to be so fast that it gives you stress to order. Once I received our food I was off. My big double turned out to be one patty cut in half and placed on top of itself. I literally and a double portion of meat running straight down the center of the bun but no meat on the other sides. That means if you took a bite from two sides you would only get cheddar, onions, and bun.....but the other two sides would have double meat with the cheddar and onions. Not really the best experience. Burgers are meant to be consistent with bites and not lacking on two sides. I will still return for sure, but I'll look up the menu beforehand so I am ready for the pressure of ordering and ready for a...
