Came here for the first time yesterday just to shoot some pool. The pool tables, in my opinion, should be relocated to a different area. Every single time we went to shoot we had to pause because a child was running by with no supervision or someone was walking by. At one point one kid even attempted to sit on the pool table we were playing on. Two kids who were apparently siblings grabbed our pool balls and threw them into the corner pockets on 2 different games. I know this isn't the facility's fault but it was very annoying! We said something to the mother who seemed to be more mad at the fact we said something rather than making sure her children weren't doing something they shouldn't. The male bartender was the only person we really had any interaction from and he was very polite. The female bartender just seemed like she didn't want to be bothered so we didn't go to her for anything. Overall I believe this would be a good place to hang out and play pool if it wasn't so crowded and if you didn't have to worry about someone messing with your game or walking behind you every few seconds when you played. *Doesn't seem crowded in the pictures bec I tried to be respectful and not take pictures of people and their kids*

Good selection of both bottled and draught beer. There were plenty of staff ready to answer any questions. Jordan was an excellent server! Daily food and drink specials. Sunday is hotdogs with french fries or tater tots, hotdogs were wonderful. Wings were also good, the mesquite dry rub was excellent. A dude with a parrot was seated at the bar, even made a trip or two to the bathroom. Parrot also posed for a photo op with some kids. Just not so sure about a bird in a restaurant. Probably somewhere between 80 and 100 games taking tokens, not quarters. I counted 14 TVs strategically positioned in the bar, dining and gaming area. Two party rooms with one of the two for large groups. The gaming area was very warm, so warm we cut our visit a little short. If your gaming visit is to help escape the hot weather, you may be disappointed. Hopefully the air conditioning will be addressed.

I hardly ever give any reviews under 3 stars. I know almost all of my reviews are 5 because as a business owner, I know the impact of them. But the reality here is that we had a large group of 12, and the service was truly poor. They threw a new person with no experience on us and put us in a back room alone and forgot about us. I had to personally go out on 3 separate occasions to get their attention. When the food finally came it was cold and not very good. Sure, they have games in the back, and maybe they want to be more of an arcade for kids than an actual restaurant because the restaurant part is seriously lacking.

It's a shame. The food here was amazing but we will NOT be back as when you get the check they are charging you a bogus "service fee" of 3% of your check. The receipt says if you pay cash you get a 3% discount. They are passing on debit card/credit card fees to you (without your knowledge, consent, and asduming you are psying that way.) BUT there is no mention of this on the website or in the menu as there is with the mandated service charge of 18% gratuity for large parties. I asked the hostess up front a out the charge and she said shed never seen that before.

I asked for The "manager" who was also the bar tender. She said "all of the restaurants are doing it" and she can't do anything about it and if I wanted to use thier ATM (for a huge fee) I could get my 3% discount for paying cash or i could complain to the owner.

I mentioned that there was no sign on the door, it was not posted on the website, menu or even at the table to indicate there is a credit card/debit card charge. I eat out a lot in Raleigh, Cary, and the greater Garner area and this is the first I have ever been charged this. I believe in being honest and up front BEFORE I check out.

It's a shame because in the end it will hurt the servers. Not only is the language deceiving as they hope you don't notice it. But to some, it implys the tip (albeit low) was added to your check. Or that unsuspecting customers may end up leaving less (if at all) to account for the added fee.

For me its not the amount rather the principle of not being told ahead of time and the "i dont care" attitude by the manager. Not that they care, but we will...

Arrived at the Good Times Arcade and Tavern around 8PM on Dec 14th, 2019. Immediately upon entering, my group of 5 was informed that due some damage, very few drinks would be available. Not an issue for us, we took our seats and begin looking over the menu. What did end up being an issue was the 15 minutes it took to have someone bring our water's, the 20 to take our orders, and the 45 to get a burger, 2 hotdogs, some fries and tots. After we finished our meal (admittedly, fairly tasty), we waited patiently for our server to return. This took another 20 minutes, with one of my party having to go let her know we were ready for the bill. Multiple times she passed by our table, and multiple times we attempted to gain her attention or flag her down, but whatever conversation she was having must have been too funny, as she continued to laugh away with 2 other servers by their stand. After finally managing to pay our bill, we decided to try out some of the arcade machines. Unfortunately, about 1/3rd of the machines were taped over, and non functional (With one of the racing games actually having a windows error notification the screen.) Of the few games we did play, at least 2 of the machines did not actually reward tickets as displayed. Now, this is not really a big deal, in that none of us actually wanted any of the prizes, but the unfortunate server who apparently has to jump back and forth between the kitchen and the prize stand made it very obvious that she loathed any attempt at communication. All in all, I rate the experience at 2 stars, and only that high due to the food at least...

I initially planned on not seeing anything, but I decided to share after receiving a request to review. Lived in Garner the last two years. I just started visiting this establishment a few months ago. Two Saturdays ago, I ordered food & paid online. I arrived at the suggested time. The young lady who waited on me was rude, condescending, indifferent. I gave her my name three times, and she responded by saying I can’t find you in the system; I don’t know what you’re talking about. Then, she walked away from the counter with NO Explanation as I stood there dumbfounded. A few minutes later, she came out of the kitchen with a bag of food, which she threw on the counter and walked away. I was furious, but I would not lower myself to respond in kind. There is an overwhelmingly uncomfortable atmosphere unless you are a regular. This is not my first occurrence of poor service at this establishment. But it is my worst experience at GTA&T thus far. After calming down, I called back a short while later and spoke with the hostess on the phone. She explained that they have a new order system, and things aren’t working right. I explained how I was treated, and she said; well, that’s not my fault. However, she half-heartedly said she was “sorry I felt that way.” Trying to take the high ground, I asked what I should have done differently, and she said, I don’t know, the system isn’t working right, it’s not my fault.

I wasn’t treated poorly by the system; the staff treated me poorly. I hate this because I love the food. My wife and I will...
