Crafty Burger N' Tap — Restaurant in North Carolina

We have been coming to the Denver location for many years. The last couple years, we have enjoyed meeting our server Aidan, and every time we go there, we always have him wait on us.. However, Friday night was not a very good experience. Since when we walked in, it was not busy at all. There was only 2 of us and Nikki The manager tried to seat us in a tiny little table near thei bathroom, and I asked her if we can sit at the high top, where the door was so Aiden can wait on us and she said, no, we need to go sit somewhere else, because that table is for a bigger party. We went outside and was not happy being out there. We would prefer having Aiden, wait on us. So we walked back inside and and asked her if she wouldn't mind letting us sit there because we prefer our server and It was not busy. She looked at me with a dirty look gave me an attitude which I have never felt or had that before from any manager from any other establishment! And she told us basically whatever and just go sit there, and we literally were there, not even 30 minutes, still was not busy. And then we end up leaving, so the point of this post is, she's very disrespectful, let alone a horrible manager. And nobody should be treated that way. Especially customers that come to your establishment. We understand if it was an extreme busy night and there was bigger parties behind us. There was nobody waiting in line. I have been in the management business for a very long time and my first thing would be, is always making sure the customers are happy as best I can because I want them to come in and return not to feel like they're not wanted ,And that's how we felt last night.. I hope that that changes, or at least I hope that her attitude changes. Otherwise, we will not be back, and we will make sure that others won't be...

We had a truly disappointing experience at Crafty Burger—and it wasn’t just the repeated mistakes, it was the dismissive attitude from both our server and the manager. Our orders were messed up three times. The first time, we told our server Nadia. She didn’t apologize—just shrugged and walked away. The second time, another dish was wrong, and she said nothing. I decided to give it one last shot and ordered something else, and that came out wrong again. I told her to take it back because I wasn’t going to eat it. Throughout all this, Nadia seemed more focused on getting off her shift—she kept saying she was leaving soon—than on helping us. When the check arrived, we were still charged for the dish I didn’t eat. I got up to speak with the manager, hoping someone would finally step in. Instead, she told me Nadia should have let her know—putting the blame on her server—and still offered no apology. I returned to my table, and that’s when the manager came over. Rather than being helpful, her approach felt confrontational. She brought over the kitchen ticket to prove the order was entered correctly, basically shifting the blame to the kitchen—again, with no apology or effort to make the situation better. She just repeated, “I removed the charge and gave you a $10 discount,” like that was supposed to fix everything. Not once did anyone take responsibility or show any real concern. I rarely ever write a review, but this really felt warranted. First off they sat us in like an enclosed patio. There were no shades or blinds to block the bright hot sun. It almost seemed like they put the ppl with kids out there. Our 2 year old son was burning up so badly. They forgot several things we had asked for on our "build a burger". I asked for a side of their boom boom sauce bc obviously you need to try something like that before putting it on your burger. First they forgot it completely as well as my husbands fries. The sauce was beyond nasty and didnt realize until we were half way home that they charged me .75 cents for the yucky concoction. I also had ordered my burger well done. I only took a few small bites at thr restaurant and took the rest of it home. When I looked at it when I got home it was actually pink in the middle. The mac & cheese was inedible & had a horrible after taste. Also when another family complained about the horrible conditions of where we had all been sat, the manager just brushed it off. Overall it was a very horrible experience. I barely made it home without being sick and yes it actually made me sick on my stomach. We will never ever go back there. If I could have given it no stars or even a -1 I so would have. Seriously save your money and your stomach and just stay far away from this...
