Very disappointed. We've eaten here many times and the food is typically wonderful. We usually call in our orders and do pick up to bring home and eat. We've gotten wrong orders occasionally, where they messed up by giving fried rice when we've asked for steamed, which is no biggie. We've also come home with meals no where close to what we've ordered.......like an entire different order!! Disappointing, but again, not that big of a deal. We just decided to try the different items!! However, tonight we ordered and my husband and father-in-law wanted spicy food, but my little one and I did not!! So I ordered 2 extra spicy combo plates and 1 "no spicy" combo plate. Then drove 20 min there to pick up and 20 min home to eat. When I pull out the plates, all 3 are extra spicy! We tasted it, but it was too spicy for me and my little one. I called the restaurant and told the lady. She asked, "Can you not eat it at all?" I said, "No, it's too spicy for me and my little one. My husband could, but we can't." She said, "Ok, do you want me to remake it?" I said, "Yes, please." I told her that we'd be there in about 20 min. We get there to pick it up and it's a small bowl of food, not a combo plate. I asked her about the plate and she said that I couldn't get the entire plate redone unless I brought the other one back, which she didn't tell me to begin with, or I would have!!! I asked her about the lo mein (I requested lol mein instead of rice with the original plate, which was an upcharge) because it had already been marinating in the extra spicy sauce that it was in. She said I could pay $5 for an additional side of lo mein, but that's all she could do because she had already given me a free meal!!!! I was so disappointed! We have eaten here for years, but will sadly not be returning. My husband was so mad, he said it wasn't even worth the time or gas to go back down there just for that!!! It honestly would've been cheaper to just go buy another meal somewhere closer!!!
If you plan to do a pick up order, please please please double check your order before you leave! Otherwise you may be disappointed when...
Read moreYes takeout 2 days ago and overall it was pretty good. The hot and sour soup was good with varied ingredients. Spring rolls were ok, crunchy veggies on the inside, but they could have used the thinner rice wrap for an overall spring roll experience. Chicken wings where pretty good, better than most I've had at other asian restaurants. Lunch entrees were good, veggies tended to be crisp if not slightly over cooked, and the beef and chicken were of respectable quality. I would order again when in the area. Update 12/14/2021 Hello again, I've ordered a few times over the last 5 weeks from China 2 in Denver, and have noticed most items are still as I mentioned in my last post, but the beef seems to be of lesser quality lately. With tat said the staff is helpful and usually have my order ready when I arrive. The wings and spring rolls are...
Read moreI’m sorry but $36 worth of food straight to the trash!
The house fried rice absolutely no flavor in it - like the rice was left over from several days with more water added to it. Even the shrimp was bleached out from too much water and it was super fishy- that means it’s not fresh.
The poopoo plater was total grease - it had been sitting by the frier way too long- photo below- something in that smelt rank like bad meat product. I tried the egg roll and I’m not fan of burnt grease and duck sauce. Pass hard!
The General Tao chicken was just over breaded something representing meat with no taste and again the rice cooked too long and no flavor.
Grease pit Nasty - nasty food… Every bit of it in trash can now.
Will not be going back.
Highly recommend folks not eat here as it will dang sure make you...
