I got donuts for my daughter and myself today, my birthday. We visited the Arlington Blvd store. Within the first 60 seconds I thought to myself that we should have gone to Krispy Kreme like my daughter suggested. The only greeting was on the receipt and the cashier barely parted his lips to speak when I greeted him. He just stood there looking at me. He looked annoyed as I walked closer to the counter. I asked what doughnuts they had since none were in plain view, and you would have thought I asked for some fresh-squeezed grape juice. He rolled his eyes like he was annoyed. He managed to say "thanks" when he handed me my receipt, but by then I was already annoyed and couldn't wait to leave. I've always preferred Dunkin over Krispy, but today made me question that. Customer service really matters. I can't remember a time I've felt more unwelcome in an establishment. It makes sense now why there were no customers there and it wasn't closing time because I checked before we went.
The young man that made our dragon fruit drinks was very friendly and cordial. It almost came close to starting to redeem the poor service we received initially. Almost
Must do better! Especially if they want to keep up with Krispy Kreme or Duck's Donuts. Overall very disappointed. I'll go to Duck's Donuts next time I want...
Read moreI've been here multiple times and they have messed up my order every single time. I usually order a bagel with butter AND cream cheese and they always forget one of the two. My wife recently went there and ordered a frozen chocolate and a donut and the lady handed her a hot coffee, when my wife tells her that's not what she ordered, she proceeds to give her attitude about making the correct drink. She then proceeds to dump the hot coffee in a different cup, put shaved ice in it, and put some chocolate on top, instead of making the correct drink. They didn't give her the donut and when she asked about her donut she walks away and left the drink on the window counter and comes back 20 MINUTES LATER with the donut and no new correctly made drink. The whole time shes sitting in the drive thru with multiple cars waiting. She went back today to give them another chance and ordered a drink and a wake up wrap and tried sending her on her way without the wake up wrap they forgot to give her. customer service is horrible and i would not recommend wasting your time or money...
Read moreI am a jersey girl so I am familiar with DD. Have to say, have gone quite a few times and have inly had one issue. Took long for bagels and still had to come back because the donuts were wrong in the bag. Other than that one experience this place is great.
Edit- lowered to 3 stars: I've been going here over a month now. Have had at least one thing happen each visit. Either my cups weren't filled as they should have been or mixed how they should have been. I shouldn't have to get a mixed coffee and take it home to mix it myself because all the syrup/sugar is at the bottom. They wait time can also be a bit ridiculous. If I place my order, wait five minutes for just my drink to be done, i shouldn't have to wait another ten minutes for a sandwich which had been completely forgotten from my order. I have gone at different times of day so I can say without a doubt some more training is needed or you need to get some more staff who can help expediting orders. I have toa say I was really excited to have this location open because its closer than going...
