For a first time customer, I had no idea the small sub WAS indeed SO small! I ordered online, assumed for the price, the small subs would be at least 6 inches, but what I got were 4 sliders. I could have accepted that more if they had of just been loaded with meat and vegetables, but unfortunately they had very little of all... Mine for example was a bacon ranch, but it had only a little bit of meat, a sliver of tomato, a sprinkle of lettuce, one small, thin slice of bacon, folded in the middle, and it did not taste anything like ranch. The bread is VERY thick. Too thick. I don't like that. It's too much. I got 2 others that were turkey and cheese, and the same... Little meat and cheese, barely any flavor and I paid extra for bacon, a little folded piece of bacon. The 4th one was actually the best looking one. Wish I'd gotten that one instead. I am glad I decided before leaving to get the limited meatball pepperoni to split w my son. It was VERY good! The meal cost too much however, but was good. We like Which Wich much better! The Firehouse menu should have the subs listed by number size (like 1/4", 6" and 12"), not small, medium or large. I didn't even know sub restaurants made 1/4" subs, or as I now say, sliders. May as well just go to Arby's. At least the price and amount of ingredients is better, as well as taste. I spent over $30 at Firehouse. Was not worth it. I will stick...
Read moreIf you have never had one, Firehouse subs speak for themselves...the are the best subs on the planet! I have been a huge fan of their subs since my first bite in 2004 and was sooooo excited when I saw this location coming to Greenville NC. But, I had no idea how amazing they truly were until the other day….my nephew is also a Firehouse fanatic and so after a day at the water park we drove 20 min across town to get dinner there. After ordering I realized I had no money b/c my wallet was not in my purse but still in my bag at home from the water park!! Both he and I were so disappointed (and me literally to the point of tears) that we would have to turn around and drive 20 mins home without our subs. Seeing how distraught we were that we were not going to get our subs, that is when the amazing manager JP offered to put the $10 order on them! I was shocked, now that is customer service! Of course, I wasn’t going to take or expect a handout, so I made a deal to come back the next day and pay the $10! Thanks to JP and his amazing staff my nephew and I were able to enjoy the most delicious subs in the world!! When I came back to pay JP my $10, I made a point to let him know that while the quality and taste of the subs speak for themselves…his above and beyond customer service speaks for this Greenville location! So GO EAT THERE! You will NOT BE...
Read moreWhen I stopped here I only felt like getting a little lunch and I live sandwiches. I have known for years that this chain helps fire stations with donations but hardly ever stop in. I'm very happy I stopped in this day because the sandwich was great! I have almost eliminated pork from my diet but I could not resist the Honey Virginia Ham sandwich. I loved the taste of sweet and savory and that perfectly toasted bun just adds icing to the cake. I have been stopping by once a month and never had I received a bad experience. The associates are nice, very helpful, and my sandwiches have always been just as I wanted. I'm one of those unusual people who want a warm bun but cold meat and they never give me a strange look. On occasion I had to use the bathroom and never were they messed up or smelling. I don't know if it's the responsiveness of the employees or the class of customers but it is very much-loved by me. In Greenville you have a lot of choices but I can't think of any that does what...
