My wife and I went to the counter to order at a time when there were no others ordering. We ordered two toasted bagels and two lattes. The cashiers said they would bring our order. We waited awhile, but no one came. I went back to the counter and the lattes were sitting there, but not the bagels. I asked the person preparing the orders where were our bagels. She said, "Oh, yeah." I waited while she prepared the bagels and she handed me a paper bag with my food order. I returned to my table. Opening the bag, I found the toasted bagel, a little container of what was said to be butter on the menu and a container of creme cheese. There was also a napkin and a plastic knife. I tasted the 'butter," but it wasn't real butter. It was margarine. The creme cheese was OK. The bagel was fresh. I tasted the latte and found it to be very weak, almost flavorless. I rarely write a negative review. I really, really would like to love this place as it has a nice decor and pleasant staff. But OMG, I had the worst cup of decaf latte here today. You know that taste of thin, watery coffee that lingers on your tongue for way too long? Yeah, I finally lost that taste, after rinsing my mouth several times and chewing gum, over the course of four hours. This cup of "latte" had a millimeter thick layer of foam on it; below was just scalding hot, watered down coffee. And to think I waited for such a long time for it, too... What were they doing in the back? Inventing new uses for their dishwater that included pouring it into my cup? :( Too bad, Giddy-Up, I won't come back again; my partner had the same experience the last time we went there (I only ordered a fountain drink then) and decided back then...
