My brother took me through drive through, we got our food and then we went home, not more than two miles away, to eat it. I had ordered a bog standard chicken biscuit. I had opened up the package and the chicken had cheese on it and was so dry and hard and tough that it looked like it escaped out of a Soviet Maximum Security Prison in Siberia. The cheese, which wasn't even supposed to come on the biscuit and that I'm allergic to, was unusually brown meaning that it was sitting in a hot box way past expiration. Which.....indicates to me, that this was a wrong order that some other customer opened, realized it was made wrong, returned it, and then the store tried to pass it off on me as if it were a fresh product that was perfectly made. And so, my brother took me back to the store to complain and maybe see if I could get a fresh product. Upon entering the building, my nose was assaulted with bathroom smells out in the lobby. I'm not sure if it was the manager or the shift leader, but they were standing in the front near a young teen doing something or other. This pleased me as I wanted to speak to that person, not the young teen taking the orders since my food was wrong. I asked the manager/shift leader why A: There was cheese on what is supposed to be a bog standard chicken biscuit and B: why it looked like it escaped a Soviet era prison in Siberia. Instead of apologizing to me and quickly rectifying the situation the lady promptly became angry with me and accused me of cursing. At that point, I had not cursed. She then tried to place blame on "new trainees". There may have well been new trainees, however, I basically told her that it wasn't my problem. And, indeed, my problems did not lie with new trainees. They hadn't interacted with me nor had they purposefully done anything wrong considering that I only interacted with the manager/shift leader and the manager/shift leader alone. Had new trainees actually done something wrong, it's not my place to blame them, but rather, the manager/shift leader as it's the manager/shift leader's job to correct the new trainee. Eventually, the manager/shift leader asked me if I wanted a fresh product or my money back. Exasperated, I chose to get my money back. Instead of getting my money back, I was promptly told to leave the store without my money or my product. At that point, I cursed the woman out before leaving. Even if I get "Unbanned" and "get permission" to enter the store again....I promise you, I WON'T go back willingly. Do yourself a favor....fire the manager!!! I actually DO understand that food can be mediocre sometimes and that honest mistakes DO happen and that new trainees DO need to be properly trained. However, this was not a case of a one off accident. This was a case of straight up neglectful and unenthusiastic management that simply does not care about the business succeeding or not. I wasn't born yesterday, I know what a Hardee's chicken biscuit is supposed to look like considering that Hardee's was my first job. I've worked a lot of fast food. I get it! It's hard. However, this particular location is...
Read moreThey were rude and short. Our burger were made UPSIDEDOWN and when I called to file a complaint it rang and then I got a horrible screeching sound. Not to mention my burger had no condiments on it and the meat was old. Never eating here again. Update: I went back in to speak with a manager and see if my burger could be replaced and the manager was immediately rude to us. I tried to be polit despite being upset. She said to my partner that this is the second time you’ve been in here and done this. He had never been in there before. She insisted that it was upside down because that was how they are supposed to be wrapped but the burger I had was itself constructed upsidedown. The meat was old looking and cold but she said that she had been the one cooking all day and that they had to be made to order despite what my food looked like. My new burger was not cooked in front of us. She slammed the door to the cookie container also. I felt like it was a very hostile situation and filed a complaint with the corporate office. I never complain and return food at a fast food restaurant but this was outrageous. My second burger looks a little better and is constructed differently but still the lettuce and pickles are under the patty and the condiments above. Before the condiments were under the patty and the lettuce above. I don’t think burger are supposed to be made this way. The funny thing is I wanted Burger King but my boyfriend insisted that Hardee’s had...
Read moreI have been to this Hardee's many times. Each time I regret it. It's the only one around here. Just a couple of points. 1. No matter what time of day, lunch, dinner, mid- afternoon, whatever it takes forever to get your food. It doesn't matter whether there are 10 customers or no customers it will take at least 15- 20 minutes for more to get your order. The staff is always rude or at best curt. For example, last Saturday my family and I were waiting at the counter for 15 mins or more as usual so I asked "Is somebody working on my order?" Since there was a real possibility that nobody was. The Kid behind the counter glared at me and said "Yeeeaah." (sarcasm dripping) That's it. Even my gf though he was rude. Check your food, cause there's a good chance it's wrong. In conclusion, even my penchant for Hardee's burgers may not be enough to keep me coming back to...
