We stopped there today for the first time ever. We got there around 2:30. After any Sunday church crowd or anything. We ordered one appetizer, one 1time salad bar, and a pizza. The appetizer consisted of French fries, mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, fried mushrooms, & chicken strips. They were all frozen foods bought from a food supplier or the Lowes Foods next door and didn’t come with any dipping sauces. The salad bar…was gross and I actually had to get up and find my server to ask if I just go to the bar or wait for a plate to be brought to me. The server said, “Oh, well most people who come in here just know what to do bc they have been here before” Ooookay! The pizza was okay…not great but the best thing we ordered. We stacked all of our dirty dishes together to be helpful (I’ve been a server of 21 years), but it took forever for our server to bring our check. We watched as she rolled silverware, played her phone, and chatted with another server who sat down with her after awhile. We felt like we were being held hostage in a restaurant that was freezing cold just so we could pay our bill and get out! Do not eat here!
If the restaurant manager wants to respond, please don’t! I’ve seen all the reviews you’ve replied to; and you just want people to come back and waste their money and not truly apologize to them. Don’t...
Read morePrices are sky high and fees are added that are unexplained at checkout. When questioned about an upcharge I was told it was for my toddler's 2 cheesesticks that we were taking in a napkin rather than leaving them to be thrown away. This upcharge was ridiculous because I'd also been charged $7.99 for a child's buffet - it's not like he was sharing my food - and he ate 1 piece of pizza and 1 of the 3 cheese sticks from his plate. They also added an unexplained fee and said "it's the new system we got" while pointing to the card reader but couldn't tell me the amount. At the end of the interaction they deleted everything and entered the charges individually but be sure to ask before blindly swiping your card. Things don't add up until you ask for individual prices. EDITED TO ADD: In response to your reply, there were additional fees on my total when it was rang up originally. The original price was $28 and change, when asked about the itemized prices I was told "that's a fee for the new system" which is false by your own explanation of the cash/card prices. I asked to speak to a manager and only at that time did the young man correct the bill and waive the $1 fee. Regardless of the $1 fee for the cheese sticks, I was at first going to be charged an unexplained fee that I did not owe if I hadn't...
Read moreI'd really like to give them more than 2 stars, but I just can't bring myself to. I'll start with their choice of delivery services, GrubHub. I know they contract out the delivery, but the provider is their choice.
First, I noticed that my order items (4 of them) were marked up in price on the GrubHub menu page. The total was $4 more. Then, even though the website offered free, first time delivery to get my email, they still charged a $2.49 delivery fee. And a $4.99 service fee. That's almost $11.50 in fees. They tried to include a 20% tip, but I backed it down to $5. $16.50 is enough for delivery charges.
Now the food. The buffalo shrimp were not. Nothing but very, very tiny popcorn shrimp chunks with a small container of sauce. The cheeseburger that was ordered plain came with lettuce, tomato and mayo, but no seasoning on the burger. Very bland. Same for the fries...no salt. Cold fries don't take salt well. And the super steak sub? Well, I've gotten more steak on a small subway sub. Overall unsatisfactory experience.
A handful of shrimp pieces, a lean steak sub, an incorrect burger, and a small slice of cake... $42. No, I won't order...
