Kaze Japanese Grill — Restaurant in North Carolina

The Kaze Japanese Grill Experience (Call In/Pick Up Edition). I had two things on my mind on this day: shopping at Roses and trying Kaze, lol. So, after buying some cheap finds, I called in my order. First, I ordered their mixed vegetable plate with a side of ginger and hot sauce. I also ordered their spring rolls. Then, I asked about their soup but, they only had miso. I'm not a fan of miso, but I was hoping they had clear onion soup.

So, after placing my order, I headed to the restaurant to pick up my food. Once I arrived, there was a short wait. After all, I placed my order from the parking lot of Roses if you know the area. The establishment appeared clean and organized on the inside. Once at my destination to eat, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of my plate.

I also enjoyed the taste of my vegetables with the added ginger and hot sauce I had on the side. Also, the spring rolls were a perfect touch to my meal. I would go back to Kaze Japanese Grill! Walkertown has come a long way from its humble beginnings with only having a Hardees...

The cashier was eating while she took my wife's order and payment for the order and when I went back into pick it up. I had to go back in because they had given me someone else's food.I went to the Subway 2 doors down and I went into Kaze to get her order. I handed it to my wife and she asked if I had ordered food for myself and she handed the bag back to me because it was not her order. They put the incorrect order back on the side where they place orders that are ready to be picked up. They gave the other person that bag when they came to pick it up! Unbelievable! VERY UNSANITARY to give someone food that I had taken out of the store and opened!! Unbelievable! I had. stopped ordering my food from them because what I ordered was either wrong or missing my salad. After what happened today we won't order food...

Completely honest review from a first time non local customer. TODAY I called and asked if they had any lunch specials and the female on the phone said “the same ones we have everyday”. My jaw dropped and I told her I wasn’t from the area and I couldn’t find an online menu. She did say sorry but that’s not what you say to customers. When I picked up my food she was polite other than when I asked did they have a to go menu, she told me they were “on google”. Now as far as the food... it was terrible. I got this $13 shrimp and steak plate and the only thing that was good was the mushrooms, carrots and sauces. The steak was tough, the noodles were over cooked and mushy, no seasoning AND my stomach has been queasy ever since. Most of it went in the trash. I won’t return and wish I could get...
