I don't write reviews of chains - but for this, I make an exception.
I came in to order 4 sandwiches - two kids and 2 adults (hey - I was the chick in the stitch shirt). The ladies behind the counter were engrossed in some conversation. Got it. We walked up and were greeted with "white or wheat, cuz that's all we got." Sure, there was a clear "rush" of people. We were the only ones in the whole shop.
We then spent the next 5 minutes trying to order and sweet Lord who are in heaven - I'll never do that again. I had to repeat every part of my order to the two girls as they tried to maintain their conversations about their payday (apparently they got paid today because tomorrow is a holiday... one is excited for her big check of ~600$. Congrats, that is a lot of money for this terrible job). They tried at make each other's sandwich, reaching over one another and trying to work on the same one at the same time. That went as poorly as one would expect.
Asking for a "hot" sandwich blew her everloving mind - she would only respond to 'toasted' and repeatedly asked if I wanted it toasted once I said it was a cold sandwich. She didn't understand what a ham sandwich was - probably because she was paying attention to her side conversation about kitchen duties.
After attempting to wrap up orders where every order piece was responded with "huh" or just the wrong darn ingredient, we wrapped up.
Turns out - the bread they gave us was STALE. Like, rock hard stale. It shattered when I tried to eat it. Somehow, someway, their pickles when bad. The ranch is bad. They used one knife to fold everything, so everyone had a mix of every sauce on their sandwich as the knife moved around.
And - fear not. Their side conversation didn't miss a beat while we left. They maybe stopped talking about their money habits twice each while trying to make food.
I get it - this is how people get work experience. But, ffs, this is why establishments need a manager on the floor. They managed to screw up 4 very simple orders and serve food that had gone bad.
0/10. Not even worth...
Read moreOn 10 October 2024, I used the app to order dinner for my wife and I. We both worked late. I am in the military and she is a teacher and with a newborn we knew we would be too tired to cook dinner. She selected Subway over Jersey Mike’s because she is fan. Before this day we had never visited this location even though it is a 5 minute drive away. I picked up my food without issue and noticed that the restaurant was clean and orderly so I assumed that there would be no issues and we would enjoy our meal.
When I arrived home I noticed that our order was incorrect. I had order a six inch and a 13 inch - they however, gave me two 6 inch sandwiches, one of which was not made correctly and forgot to give me a drink cup.
I returned to the restaurant and explained the mistake. They refused to remake the order and instead insisted that I have another six inch made. (The second 6 inch was also incorrect and I didn’t know it.
So, in order to have the sandwich the way I wanted it I had to pay for an additional sandwich.
I asked for my drink and they pointed to a stack of cups. I took a cup filled it with lemonade and just as I was putting the cap on I noticed there was a large bug in the drink. I informed the staff and they took the cup without any apologies.
I have never been treated so rudely. The assistant manager (she said she was but I saw no such identification) was exceptionally rude. She told me that she could do nothing for her mistake because she would lose money. Which is interesting because wouldn’t losing a customer and that customer’s friends serve as the same consequence?
Highly dissatisfied with...
Read moreThis is the worst Subway I have visited. The employees have no idea what they are doing and they are rude. I ordered a sandwich tray for a birthday party and I phoned in the order a couple of days ahead of time. The guy who was on the phone took my order, my phone number and told me that the tray would be ready for picking up. On the day of picking up the tray, I went to the store and was told that they DID NOT make the tray. I asked them why? they said they did not make it because I was supposed to pay for it 24 hours ahead of time. I asked them why it was not communicated to me because if they told me that I would pay over the phone. I asked the guy on the phone specifically that if it was OK to pay with credit card on the day of picking up and I was told it is OK. and they did not bother to call me to let me know there was an issue with my order. The guy I talked to simply did not care and the whole time I was asking him the whereabout the tray and he was just tauting the order slip and the other lady in the store was just clueless. Now at a last minute, I was left without food for the party. Luckily there is a pizza store next door and I ordered the pizza instead!!! Stay away from...
