Let me start off by talking about the atmosphere…it’s abysmal. Every screen and every print out has a different font. The menu isn’t readable. The bright colors everywhere don’t help either. If I as a 20 yr old am getting a headache reading the menu that’s concerning. Not to mention the fact that a few of the menu items say “WTB” instead of “WBT (Waxhaw Boba Tea). PLEASE hire a graphic designer and choose a single font!
I ordered a peach green fruit tea. The lady working there said it all their drinks have milk powder so I had to ask for none. Fruit teas should not have milk powder so that was super strange. My partner got a taro milk tea, but the milk was 75¢ extra.
Both drinks were wonderful and I was extremely surprised. Looking at the place I would have thought that they would have been disgusting. Aesthetics really matter, as I mentioned earlier please hire a graphic designer.
The price point is very high in my opinion, especially with milk being extra. I’m glad to have a boba shop so close but it’s not my first choice. Especially since every time I’ve tried to go there previously they’ve turned me away for one reason or the other.
I really think you’d get a lot more business if you revamped the menu design and functionality. From the outside the store doesn’t look appealing, just confusing. And that’s really sad considering you product is actually super good.
Edit: After receiving a condensing reply from the owner I decided I will not be returning.
I have no issue with your number ordering system, my issue was that the information wasn’t concise. Other people have also pointed out your menus are hard to read and there are too many fonts. Everyone may not have the same taste in design, but the design choices you chose are driving...
Read moreVery different compared to other boba shops I have been to. They offer different flavors and combinations. I did try the Pina colada one instead of my usual coconut milk tea and it did not disappoint. They do offer different types of milk products such as 2%, coconut milk and ect. I have never been offered different types of milk choices so it was nice to have choices. The cashier was very helpful and friendly explaining the difference in flavors and giving recommendations, love the green dino(trex) earrings they had on. The interior is small I assume mostly for take out. They do have two small cute tables outside for guests to enjoy their drinks. The boba isn't as sweet as other places for regular sweetness but still good. I do recommend the Pina colada from here tho very fruity and sweet. Parking is a bit difficult since it is located downtown area, but it was our first time...

These reviews are so misleading. If you’re looking for authentic boba, this is NOT the place. This shop is a complete joke when it comes to real boba tea. From the moment I walked in, I should’ve known I was in for a disappointment—the menu was an absolute nightmare to read, cluttered with bizarre graphics and a layout that made zero sense.
The biggest offense? Every single tea comes with milk powder. And of course, no one bothers to mention that until you take a sip and realize you’re basically drinking a cup of artificially flavored milk. There is also absolutely no trace of tea in these drinks—just an overwhelming, cloying milky taste that makes it feel more like a sad, melted milkshake than anything remotely close to proper boba.
If you come here, do yourself a favor and lower your expectations....
