ASIAN GOURMET — Restaurant in North Charleston

I have ordered from this place multiple times and have never had an issue, until today. I placed my order online, like I have multiple times and ordered the incorrect items. We do the dinner combo instead of the traditional meals, after I realized it I had called them to see if they could change it, when I was told they could not because it was already paid for I was completely fine with that. The issue I had was that when I made my phone call, I was told that my food was already ready, that also being another reason they couldn't change my order. So I proceeded to go pick up my order and it was not ready, after waiting approximately 10-15 mins, I asked to speak to the manager. When the manager approached the counter she rudely stated "What's the problem?" So I calmly let her know I understood that they couldn't change my order and I was completely fine with that, but I did not appreciate being lied to about my order being ready and that if it wasn't ready they shouldn't have stated so on the phone call. Instead of being understanding and just offering a simple apology, which I would have gladly taken, she starts to get loud and yelling about a refund, I continued to state it is not about the money but being lied to as a customer and to try to see it from my point of view. Needless to say she basically threw my money at me and yanked the food off of the counter. I will never deal with this establishment again, you do not treat your customers this way. I placed my order online. I called the restaurant to add an order of Spring Rolls to my order. It took the young lady who answered a few minutes to find my order, once she found it she said "yeah what about it" (how unprofressional). I explained that I needed to add a order of Spring Rolls to my order. I was advised that I had to go back online and order it in a new order instead of just adding it to my credit card paid order. This does not make since; other restaurants would have added it and change the cost of the purchase. How will I place another order for the Spring Rolls if there is a $15 dollar limit for delivery? There was no explanation from the young lady on what I would need to do to place the order with the limit restrictions. This will be the last time I order from here. Asian Goumet has always been my go to whenever I order Sautee Beef with Broccoli and Boneless Ribs. I should have ordered from Yummy Yummy Chinese Restaurant who has always been courteous with a high quality of customer service. Additionally, I received my food which was not hot/warm. I'm from NYC. AND WHEN I SAY,There isn't anything Like My Food... I MISS OUR FOOD. But If you are looking for heads on and hands down the best CHINESE FOOD AND SERVICE. Let's start off with the pretty little girls always so pleasant doing there homework or being sisters, and just the greeting and hospitality is Immaculate. Feel right at home. Then the servers and cooks are friendly. You can serve your own forks and spoons, and fortune cookies at your own disposal at the end, when you get your food. DID I SAY FOOD!!!! The food is always fresh, and too, it's superb. I actually enjoy the food 3 times a month. And yes, I can cook and MY BEAUTIFUL wife who makes oriental food as well..
