After our bad experience here we decided to give it another try on 7/9/18. So glad we gave them another try because everything was excellent. Our server Andrew was awesome and the food was perfect, no more burnt garlic bread. We left full and happy. Definitely will be going back. Awesome food and service at a great price. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Just goes to show our previous bad experience was just a bad day, and we all have those from time to time, what matters is how you come back from it.
I told my daughter I would take her anywhere she wanted to go for dinner to celebrate some huge accomplishments she has made. When she chose Steel City Pizza I was pleased because we have always had great service and great food....until today. The food took forever to come out, and there were only 3 of us, so it wasn't a massive order. When the food did arrive, it was not accompanied by any silverware, that was another wait of about 5 minutes to get silverware while Our food sat on the table getting cold. Our waiter was terrible. We spent a lot of time with empty drink cups. When I asked for a box for my leftovers I waited a long time just to get a box. On top of the wait for the box I was given a salad box for my left over spaghetti and chicken parmesan. My garlic bread was burnt and hard enough that it probably would've been able to break a window. Most servers either bring you the check when you ask for a box or at least ask if you're ready for the check. Not our waiter, he dropped the box off and left before I could even ask for the check. We sat there at least another 10 to 15 minutes, leftovers boxed up and no one at the table still eating, before he came back to ask if we wanted the check. Between the subpar food and terrible service I will think twice before returning. I definitely won't go there if we want to celebrate a special occasion. Our celebratory dinner was...
Read moreWorst dining experience my husband and I have had. Granted, places just opened up outside dining because of the virus. We got there at 8 so not close to closing time. Our server was awful and rude. We were excited to have pizza my husband ordered a margarita ($6) which he said was terrible but it was a 6 dollar margarita so can’t expect much. We got our drinks and she apologized for the wait it wasn’t bad...yet. We waited for 40 MINUTES for our pizza while being straight ignored by our waitress multiple times. She didn’t stop by to ask if we wanted another drink (my husband did) and she wasn’t anywhere to be seen for long periods of time. It got to the point where I went to the to go order host and told her we had been waiting 40 minutes and we just wanted our order to go at that point because we could see they were closing. People even got there after us got their food and left before us and we saw so many to go orders! I felt bad because we normally are very nice to our servers and understanding that things sometimes take longer than expected but she didn’t even bother to say “sorry for the wait” just walked past us multiple times avoiding us because she knew it was taking a while. That’s bad serving. We finally got our to go pizza and she blamed it on the to go orders? WE ARE DINING CUSTOMERS. If you’re not ready to have dine in customers yet just don’t open back up and take care of the to go orders since you seem to care more about that than actual dine in. Plus the white supreme pizza was...
Read moreMy co-workers and I frequent this location about every other week and we ALWAYS order multiple orders of the cauliflower bites in a Take-Out order. The orders are always extremely inconsistent. Some of us get a full box. Some get less. Today we received 4 cauliflower bites in one order. Yes. 4. Mind you we are addicted to these things because they are so delicious so we haven’t wanted to make a fuss out of it. Until today. When we asked why last week we received almost double this amount, he told us that they determine the amount of cauliflower bites by weight and that last week they lowered the weight that they will allow per order, but the price will remain the same due to the price of products increasing. The manager offered to add an order of Cauliflower bites as a courtesy; however we declined the offer as we had a lunch meeting. We just want to state that although we are addicted to these Spicy Cauliflower bites, we will no longer be coming to this location to eat them. There is no way that if we came and sat down and dined in, you would serve us 4 pieces of cauliflower as an appetizer. And if you did, we would have the same complaint, because the rate of $2 per tiny piece of Cauliflower is ridiculous.
If you can get some consistency with the Spicy Cauliflower bites, your most addicted customers...
