I recently had a terrible experience with a take out order. I have had years of restaurant working experience and this behavior was EXTREMELY uncalled for: I work in a business a few doors down from them. I called to order my lunch. It is been a while since I have ordered lunch out, considering I usually bring my own. I ordered a ‘chicken bowl’. The employee that took my order told me it would be about 15 to 20 minutes. I hung up and returned to my client. About 5-10 minutes later I asked our receptionist if she could call up there and let them know to make sure that my meal did not have bell peppers. I didn’t know if they would put them in there or not. They told her that my meal was already made, and if I wanted one w/o bell peppers, I would have to order another meal, but still pay for the first one. I thought that sounded odd, so I left my client to call back up there. I explained to the girl on the phone that I could not eat Bell peppers or food that was cooked in them and she repeated what my receptionist told me. So, I asked her if they would expect me to pay for an extra meal if I were sitting in their restaurant and realized that my food had been cooked with peppers after they brought it too me? She then put me on hold. After a minute a new person picked up the phone and I realized it was the manager. I explained the situation to her and she said they could make me a new meal, but I would still have to pay for the other one also. So, I asked her the same question about if I were sitting in their restaurant eating. She then proceeded to tell me that I obviously knew that my meal would come with peppers bc I could read the menu bc I called in my order. I told her that I was not sure if it would come with peppers bc I didn’t have a chance to look at a menu. She then told me that she couldn’t help that. If I didn’t want peppers I should have told them that, & I was costing them money. (Keep in mind; a lunch ‘chicken bowl’ is around $8.00, which only costs them $3-4.00 to make) I said that I was sorry but I wasn’t paying for something that I couldn’t eat. She then sarcastically said that she would do it for me this one time but COULD NOT do this in the future.....then, she continue with telling me that my actions were no different than if she went into a restaurant and ordered onions KNOWING that she couldn’t eat them and then expecting them to have a new meal for her immediately. She continued saying they were extremely busy and there were many tickets in front of mine. (I couldn’t believe that she didn’t know when to stop!) I told her that she assumed that I expected another meal immediately and that absolutely was NOT the case. I then told her that I DID NOT appreciate her attitude toward me and obviously I was inconveniencing them. “Just cancel my order” I said. She said, “ what about the new one?” I told her to cancel it because this aggravation was not worth it. Then she yelled, “The chef has already cooked your chicken!“ I said, “Well, y’all are busy enough. Serve it to someone else.” She left the conversation sarcastically telling me to ‘have a nice day.’ I said ‘whatever’ and hung up. This situation was completely uncalled for. This woman does not need to have any position where she deals in customer service. She might make a good...
Read moreDear All,
I hope this message finds you well. I feel compelled to address a recent situation involving some misinformation that has been circulating. There is a YouTube channel known as Trilogy Media that recently uploaded a video titled "Scammers HACKED and CONFRONTED at The People’s Call Center w/ Scammer Payback." In this video, an individual falsely claimed to be associated with Tsunami. I want to clarify that this claim is entirely untrue; Tsunami has no connection or affiliation with this individual whatsoever.
Regrettably, some viewers of this video have taken these false claims at face value and have even gone so far as to post inaccurate reviews about Tsunami. I kindly urge all of you to exercise caution and critical thinking before making judgments based on such unsubstantiated information. It's important to consider the impact of our actions on innocent employees who are simply working hard to provide for themselves and their families.
It's crucial to emphasize that at no point in the video did the individual in question mention conducting any business at Tsunami. Therefore, it is essential not to draw unfounded conclusions or connect imaginary dots. I can personally attest to having dined at Tsunami on numerous occasions, and the employees have always been exceptionally kind to me and my family. I can assure you that they have never engaged in any wrongdoing.
Furthermore, I implore everyone to refrain from making racist comments or threats in response to this situation. Such behavior only perpetuates negativity and harm, which is not productive or justifiable in any way.
In conclusion, I kindly ask for your support in rectifying this situation by spreading the truth and treating Tsunami's staff with the respect and fairness they deserve. Thank you for taking the time to read this message, and let's work together to ensure fairness and understanding...
Read moreOmg. This was the worst experience ever. I ordered through Uber eats. I spent $100 and received the toughest and most overdone steak I have ever had in my 40 years of life. While I place my order on ubereats I forgot to put in the notes how I wanted my steaks cooked. So I called the restaurant directly told them how I wanted my steaks cooked I wanted them medium. When my my food arrived we were starving so we immediately took them out and started eating. My steak was so overdone and when I mean overdone I mean like shoe leather. I called the restaurant to make a complaint I had to try over an hour to get them on the phone. I was told that I ordered my steaks wrong if I wanted my steak medium I should have ordered it medium rare because the steak would still cook in the container. How am I supposed to know that if I want my steaks medium when they arrive I should order them medium rare. if she knew that why didn't you just go ahead and cook them medium-rare when they got into me they would have been medium. But there is no way that ordering a steak medium upon arrival will be well done. I was told if I don't like her food I need to bring her her food. Now mind you I ordered Uber eats. I explained to her that I was not coming up there in the pouring rain to bring food back. She told me she was right there when the cook cooked my steak. And my steak was not well done. That steak was not ribeye it wasn't sirloin I believe she sold us chuck steak. So I told her maybe she should try the steak instead of just watching. I explained to her that I would never ever order from her restaurant again. I have ordered food from there several times and I've never had a problem I have never ordered any food under $50. She lost my business and I hope whoever reads this doesn't eat there. You can't be mad at me because I don't like the way your food is overcooked it's very unprofessional. So she...
