Let me say this, the score is solely on the general manager. I have held multiple gatherings/events at this location and never NEVER have I had a bad experience! We bring our children here for the special events and even Sunday brunch! Tonight for my brother we decided to throw a surprise birthday get together with between 20-30 ppl. When I called on Monday to see if this was able to happen I had my first interaction with Chris the GM. Off the start he acted as if he didnât want to do it saying they were short staffed etc and then he says we can but you wonât be at the same tables. I told him that was ok and he said oh and everyone who orders food need to stay at the table they ordered (not an issue). I told all of our guests this. We get there and immediately Chris comes out with a list of DONTs before I could even tell him what we had. We had balloons to blow up (12) he told me that they donât want all the party stuff because it would be too much to clean up and that if we did balloons, then we needed to keep them on the chairs after he made such a long complain about them I just decided not to do it. I even decided not to bring out the gift bags and things like that because I didnât want it to be a burden on him or his staff further on into the the night, he was watching us through the door and try to come out, and the kids were playing and really excited for the surprise. He was banging on the door, trying to scare the kids away from the door, and when he came out. He said he didnât want one of his staff to kick the door and knock a kid out. So we told the kids they had to sit down or plan a area close by us. She then began to try and what he called help with orders but somehow all the orders in the system that the hostess put in place got mixed up, and my husbands name went on all the tickets when people were not getting the correct orders or their food. He came out fussing at half of our party, saying that if we would stop playing musical chairs, the orders would be correct. That in fact, was not true as everyone stayed put when I went to talk to him about what he said, and his attitude because it was clear, he was irritated by us being here he fast talk to me, and then didnât even realize I was the person he had spoken to earlier in the week, and when I got to the party, he missed pronounce my name and went on to act like I didnât know what I was talking about when I said that none of our party had moved, and that they messed up on their end. As he was walking away, he mumbled to himselfâI am never doing this againâ to which my sister heard him and asked him what was that and he said oh nothing nothing then he decided to say if my sister hadnât been eavesdropping she wouldnât have heard that because he was talking about his staff first off you canât never do your staff again. That makes no sense if this establishment does not like large parties that is totally fine I will in fact never do business with this establishment. As long as Chris is the general manager he was so rude and disrespectful. I would never want to be around that place and I can just imagine how his staff feel. we spent a lot of money tonight on drinks alone and he was nasty about my party getting drinks from the bar and paying right then and there and he was even nastier in regards to our children and just us trying to celebrate. I used to recommend this place to anybody who was looking to get together for a girls brunch or a night out or just to hang out Iâll frequented this place so much that my friends and I make it a routine to come and get wings and and the house special drinks. Our two servers, MJ and a young man whose name escapes me were amazing. MJ went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable. We had everything and her system was straight forward and would have work if Chris had not intervened if ever, you come in contact with her you are in good hands Chris does not need to be in restaurant management! Worse, customer service...
Read moreThis place might be better strictly as a sports bar, because the food here is simply awful, and the service is meh at best. Servers really need to work on their communication skills and put more focus on the customer they are serving. Came in as a group of three at lunch time and the place was empty. Ordered a philly cheese, buffalo chicken sandwich, and chicken philly tacos with an app of stuffed peppers to start. Peppers came out okay but were served with what looked like blue cheese and ranch mixed? Then the wait came. It was probably 20-30 minutes between the app being served and our food making it to the table. We were told they were working on a delivery order and were a little slow. What I didn't hear at the time is that two of the plates were ready and just getting cold waiting on the third. So the delivery only slowed one of the three plates? I didn't catch this at the time because it wasn't communicated by the server very well, she kinda mumbled through it. Food arrived room temp, except the tacos. The buffalo chicken sandwich was drenched in what I can only describe as franks red hot mixed with ketchup, cayenne, vinegar and salt. The breading just fell off the chicken and it was so slippery it was hard to eat. Even then the sauce so strong that was almost inedible. I actually switched plates with my friend because he couldn't eat it and I didn't want him to be hungry. I originally ordered the Philly cheese steak and it was like a pile of room temp melted and watery cheese with some chopped meat mushy onions and peppers. It was a mouth of mush between some bread. Neither of us could finish our sandwiches. All of the fries were room temp. Tacos were good I guess, since they were fresh and hot. It was the only plate that got finished. I mean c'mon.. fries are cheap and it doesn't take anything to reheat cold food, although I don't think that chicken was salvageable. Try sticking it in the oven next time. Maybe you get better service if you're a regular. Who knows? Won't be back...
Read moreWorst service I've ever had at a restaurant in Summerville, sc. I've eaten there before but my bf had not so I decided to bring him there for lunch. I love the tempura shrimp tacos. However the service this time was AWEFUL! I decided to try the chicken quesadilla and I asked the waitress when ordering NOT to put any bell peppers cause I'm allergic to them. She said quesadilla don't have bell peppers. So I said ok, great! Guess what I took a huge bite into my quesadilla and it was FULL of bell peppers. I called a waitress back and she said oh, my bad and took it back to redo it. In the meantime my bf had finished his tacos and I was starving so I started eating some of the chips that came with his tacos. He asked the waitress for a little extra queso for me to eat with the chips while I waited..15 min later she came out with a tiny thing of queso..and I had already eaten all the chips...I said sorry it took you so long I finished the chips already..and she said, oh my bad ..turned around with the queso and brought it back to the kitchen..didn't offer me more chips or anything...still no re made quesadilla...I was about to cancel my order and my bf was so upset and our waitress was nowhere to be found so my bf called another waitress over and told her what was going on and her response was..I'm sorry I'm new here I don't know what to tell you..a few seconds later our waitress comes out with my quesadilla..and it was awfully!! Barely any cheese, super dry chicken and a few mushrooms...at this point I was so disappointed and my bf was about to loose his temper so I asked for the bill and a take out container..I put the quesadilla in the takeout container and when I got the bill, they charged me for the Xtra queso that the waitress never even put on the table...I've never been so upset eating out before..I paid and we left and my bf said .please never take me back there again...which was sad cause the shrimp taco were really good..the new staff needs some serious...
