Etta Mae’s Place — Restaurant in North Charleston

I accepted a DoorDash order from Etta Mae's Place.

When I went to the bar, the server wanted to ignore me, but when I showed I had a DoorDash order, the server went in the kitchen to check on the order.

The server came back to the bar and told me the order wasn't ready.

After 20 seconds, a lady came out of the kitchen.

I showed the lady the order. She told me that she contacted the customer to let them know she couldn't do the order because they were out of the food for the order.

In addition, she told me she canceled the order.

I thanked her, left out of the building peacefully. Call DoorDash.

DoorDash informed me that Etta Mae's Place didn't cancel the order on their DoorDash Restaurant IPad.

But since I was in good standard with DoorDash due to my past excellent delivery service, they remove the order from my Dasher app.

I have declined orders coming from Etta Mae's Place.

I hope the owner of Etta Mae's Place will block me from their DoorDash Restaurant IPad because I don't want to do deliveries for a restaurant (like this one ) that is dishonest.

I'm sad I didn't take pics beforehand because before I ordered Etta Mae's off DoorDash, I did go to see if it had any reviews or pics on yelp and it didn't. It did on google but mainly of socializing and no food. The menu had everything I wanted at the moment and those prices, omggg, you can not beat. So I ordered it and I'm so glad I did. I got a pork chop sammy, fried pickles, fried okra, fries, and fried chicken which were what most would call chicken wings. It consisted of flats/mainly drums. Yall this place is fire. I wanna kiss Etta Mae on the mouth because of how much this food hit the spot. Okra was fried with a light batter, pork chop sandwich came on your regular sliced bread (I had lettuce, Mayo, ketchup ,and hot sauce on mine), and those wings are HUGE and perfectly fried and seasoned for just $7?! I even got them plain fried instead of with a wing sauce. Those were my top faves and my boyfriend loved it all too. The pork chop sandwich tho.. I'll be trying not to order twice a week from now on because I just lost some weight and trying to keep it that way lol!...

Drove to this location got good reviews we like to try new places but as soon as you get there my guts told me no to even go inside but we did that’s was my mistake. The food was below average drinks average. The whole place looks like no one cares how the...
