Great Wall Express — Restaurant in North Charleston

Placed an online order and the order said the food would be ready by 6:56p. Arrived at the store the lady at the tefuster asked if the order was called in. I informed her that I placed an online order. She and one of the men in the back looked up the order and he looked like he didn't know that the order there. They immediately started cooking the order and I recieved the order around 7:07p. I ordered orange chicken with vegetable fried rice and I could not taste the orange on some of the pieces of chicken while the other pieces barely had the orange taste. The chicken and rice seamed to be soaked in oil, which left an shiny coat on my lips. The rice was not seasoned at all was 100% bland. The egg rolls that I ordered were the only thing that had a perfect taste and those were covered in oil as well. Not 100% happy about this experience. There was an after taste of oil as well. I’m soo disappointed. Sometimes it’s how you talk to people. I spent a lot of money with this dentist office. But to insult my pockets because I was given a quote and I came it triple the price. I decide I will wait because quote change I get charged a same day cancellation I dispute she say she manager and charging me but she was the one responsible knowing price change but didn’t reach out to inform patient but your mouth that smart to an client. Um I think you Missed a step in your job description by not informing me before my arrival. But I’m wrong. Manager don’t be drunk talking make it make sense smh u were wrong. I don’t deserve a cancellation fee. Never talk down on a client pockets sometimes people have a limit for themselves during holidays periodt….. Never know when u need someone don’t pay...

Starting to believe that Charleston has no idea what good Chinese food tastes like, as this place has almost 4/5 stars. Got the beef and broc combo: it's barely seasoned as is the fried rice, and I shouldn't have to dump loads of soy sauce just to get some taste. Also there's a strange aftertaste I'm having a hard time placing. The portion size is nice but what's the use of big portions when the food is mid? Definitely made better beef and broc at home for less money that I'd spend getting...
