Local talent, touring pros, and that one guy who probably left a wife and three kids to pursue his dream — all delivering punchlines that slap harder than your meemaw after church.

Josh Bates, the owner and host, warms the crowd up with the kind of energy that says, “Yes, I have a dad bod. No, you can't touch it — unless you're into warm sourdough and disappointment.”

And listen, if you’re not buying the merch, are you even living? Doug rocked the FIGHT NAKED tee the next day and got three compliments and one confused priest. Worth it.

A truly special local comedy club here in Charleston. Chill atmosphere, appreciate the no drink minimum. They always have an awesome line up of local and traveling comics. Seating makes for an intimate show you won’t find at the stadiums. Can’t believe I got to see Beth Stellings here! Josh, the owner, keeps things running smoothly and deals with disruptive hecklers firmly and respectfully to all. (I mean seriously, just don’t be an A-hole). And special shoutout the bartender that told our group about some sober friendly drink options 🍹 . Also, I don’t think I’ve been in a cleaner bathroom at a comedy club. 🧼 Will be continuing to visit Wit’s End throughout the years to come!

Wit’s End is a literal jewel in Charleston. It’s a small venue that provides big laughs and I love this place. I caught my second show here and was not let down. This club brings in major talent and the local acts are hilarious too (one of whom is also an owner of the club). The bar is great and even when it’s busy the staff get to you in a timely manner. I haven’t eaten here yet but they do have snack foods.

If you’re looking for a great date night, some hilarious times, and you want to support a local business, please stop by and spend a couple hours laughing with your neighbors. If you buy general admission tickets, get there early so you get seats you want, or just spend a few more dollars and get VIP so you can get a table for your drinks.
