It's Just Wings — Restaurant in North Charleston

The only really semi-okay part of this meal was the french fries when they weren't drenched in sauce everything else was pretty much unpalatable. My cousins and I ordered the honey Chipotle, ponzu and garlic parmesan wings when we open the containers none of the wings were properly coated in a sauce it was like they just took the chicken cooked it put it in the container and then just poured an amount of sauce on some of it cuz most of the chicken didn't even have sauce I had to roll it in the leftover sauce in the bottom of the container and the boneless wings resemble deep fried chicken nuggets and were extremely greasy as well. When it came to the actual sauce that was a disappointment as well. The least problematic sauce was the honey Chipotle which was fairly decent but cloyingly sweet. The ponzu sauce was extremely salty to the point where we couldn't eat more than a piece or two at the most and the fries that had gotten soaked in the sauce in the containers were no longer edible. Lastly there was the garlic parmesan wings. There was next to no sauce directly on any of the chicken in there this had the greasiest piece of chicken out of all free boxes and oddly enough unlike the other two there wasn't much sauce to dip the chicken in and coat it like the store should have done. When we tried to dip it in the sauce we were greatly disappointed it was disgusting I have never had garlic parmesan wings that tasted like that in my life we ended up throwing out that box and the rest of the fries and away because it wasn't worth eating anything that had fallen into that sauce. We won't be ordering from this place again quite frankly if you're going three for three of just not great food we don't see why we would...

I ordered a cheat meal as I start my work week tomorrow and I love wings so I figured I’d give this place a try. Ordered via Door-dash with a quick delivery. I ordered the 18 bone-in with Cajun dry rub and honey chipotle. Unfortunately my food was not very good. The fries were pretty soggy. The wings were very disappointing, especially for a place dedicated to wings. The meat was pretty chewy and both sets were all clearly undercooked. Just opening up the box, I could see that the wings looked pale and anemic. The flavors were just okay but nothing special—the sauce was too generous (I had to turn my box upside down to drain some), the dry rub was basically store bought seasonings.

I like the idea, but it’s just coming from a local Chili’s restaurant. Prices are good but not what you’re getting. We ordered last night and all the dry rub flavors were so overcooked that there was not much meat left on the bones. The fries are a great concept. Curley fries don’t deliver well even if you’re a mile down the road. Needless to say they were soggy. We even tried bringing them back to life in the oven with no luck. Given this is takeout only would it not be a better idea to have a two comp box so the fries that come with sauced wings aren’t even soggier? There was nothing impressive about this order. The Oreos that are fried were ok. I was hoping that it would be a stand out place bc we love ordering great wings from great businesses. Save your money and order elsewhere unless they can...
