Today for lunch, I craved some chinese food, I wanted a change from my usual chinese carry out, The Great Wall. I stumbled across Wangs when I went grab breakfast at Rosie's Restaurant the other morning. I never knew Wangs restaurant was there. I checked out the menu, it had so many delicious options. I asked the cashier if they had a lunch time specials, he said no. 😔 I opted for takeout instead of dining in. Upon arriving home and opening the container of the General Chow's Chicken. It did not appear as previous orders from all my past orders of General Chows Chicken from The Great Wall or P.F. Changs. For the price I paid, I did get a lot of rice and the amount of chicken was decent but it just did not look like General Chows Chicken. The chicken was dry and not enough sauce. Just a total disappointment. I probably will NOT be back, I will get my usual lunch time specials at the Great Wall.

My husband and I stopped in after a movie tonight. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. The restaurant was very clean (bathrooms included!) and customer service was top-notch! I got the Honey Chicken and the Orange Chicken with Garlic Broccoli. If I HAD to choose just one I’d pick the Honey Chicken, but both were very good. The garlic broccoli was great! It’s nice to have a healthier option. My husband ordered the Mongolian Beef with egg fried rice. The rice was very hot and he enjoyed it. We aren’t completely sure if what he received was Mongolian Beef or if it was possibly Pepper Steak by mistake. He doesn’t eat peppers so he was a little disappointed as he was expecting the typical green onion but said the beef was good and very tender. We shared an Egg Roll and liked that it was chicken instead of pork or shrimp and it tasted fresh. Overall we are happy we stopped and will definitely return 👍👍

The wife and I decided to give this place a try because it says NY style Chinese food on the window. Born and raised in NYC, I can tell you this place is NOTHING like NY Chinese food. As a matter of fact, this is probably the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I ordered the BBQ Boneless Pork with egg fried rice. The rice looked plain and honestly had no flavor. The pork was a little dry and tough. Not very good in flavor. My wife ordered the General Tso's Chicken with egg fried rice. Same issue with the rice. The chicken was not your typical General Tso's chicken. It was kind of stringy, and again, not much flavor. I ordered steamed dumplings and was highly disappointed. It tasted like the frozen dumplings you would get at a grocery store. I won't be ordering from this place ever again.

Just tried the new Chinese place, Wangs, in Merchants Crossing Plaza. Honestly, it's a hidden gem! My husband and I decided to give it a shot, and we were not disappointed.

We ordered a bunch of stuff to share - the crispy sweet chili pork, ginger chicken with onion stir-fry, pepper chicken, and beef with cabbage. Also grabbed some fried rice and veggie lo mein on the side.

First off, everything tasted super fresh. You can tell they're not cutting corners with frozen ingredients or pre-made sauces. The flavors were on point - that sweet chili pork had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and the ginger chicken was fragrant without being overpowering.

What really blew us away was the price. We got two full entrees plus a side for less than $12. In this economy? That's practically unheard of, especially for food this good.

The place is pretty new, so it's not super busy yet. But I have a feeling that's going to change once word gets out. We're already planning our next visit - there's so much more on the menu we want to try.

If you're in the area and craving some quality Chinese food that won't break the bank, definitely check out Wangs. It's quickly becoming our new go-to spot for...

We placed a large order on Friday night. I tried to call but the phone was going to voicemail (later found out they were so busy no one was available to pick up the phone, which is great to hear!). Took about 20 minutes for all of our food, so I'd say that's pretty quick for 7 meals. It smelled great inside, was very clean, and the gentleman at the front was so kind. We heard they had recently opened, so since we live around the corner, we decided to try it. Very glad we did!

This is probably the best Chinese food in the area! It was hot, fresh, and the portion size for the plates were huge so we all had leftovers. My toddler even kept asking for more and saying "Mommy, it's so yummy!"

The fried rice tasted like hibachi restaurant quality. I had the beef lo mein and it was great, all of the meat was good and there were no chewy pieces.

I'd recommend stopping in. I was happy to hear they were so busy, because I feel they deserve all the business they were getting.

We will definitely be making this our go-to for...
