7/26/23 It's been many years since my shadow has crossed the threshold of Dino's. The reason for that was that the food quality had deteriorated so badly I vowed never again to eat there. I'm chowing here tonight because a friend made the arrangements. Dino's has also moved to this location from their original restaurant about a mile or so north of here. A building that was demolished about two years ago. I'm torn between two and three stars, so after some consideration I'm going with two stars. I wasn't in the mood for seafood this day so I instead ordered a "Dino's Burger". Two patties with bacon, cheese, lettuce & tomato. Asking for pink in the middle was futile. Well cooked is what I got. I guess "have it your way" means you get it whatever way we cook it. The Rhode Island chowder was "ok" not a lot of clams or potatoes, or for that matter, much of anything. The side of Cole slaw rates a star by itself. Very good. My dining partners opted for clam strip dinner and a combo platter. Both said the clam strips were "chewy". The rest of the combo platter was given a thumbs up. Service was friendly and very quick. I don't see myself retuning any time soon. There are seafood places closer with comparable seafood and others with far superior seafood not much farther away. All in all, it was acceptable, but not really worthy of a return trip.

If I could give zero stars, I definitely would. $65.00 worth of food and Burger King or any other fast food would have been better. We were give two different kinds of chicken tenders, as you can see from the photos. The larger ones were slimy with way too much breading. The smaller one was so overcooked that it didn’t even resemble chicken. This also can be seen in the photos. The cheeseburger was a bit discolored and had a rancid smell and taste. There is a photo of that as well. Cole slaw was extremely dry and tasteless. Whole belly clams were mainly breading. The fries were very soggy and tasteless. The best part of the meal were the onion rings. They were not great, but at least weren’t over breaded or soggy. Extremely disappointed and will definitely not be getting food from here. Total waste of money!!!

I am very disappointed with this place. I went to this place because their website show nice seafood dishes but when I got there it turn out to be a fast food place serving mostly fried seafood.... The food was very salty and not appealing. I had their clam chowder and it did not taste fresh at all.... it was extremely thick and salty. I would not be going back to this place again. If you are looking at their website don't be fooled the food is nothing like they show it. On the positive side the people working there are very nice and helpful.
