On Saturday August 16, my family of four decided to give this place a visit based on the somewhat decent reviews. I first thought nice place clean and modern for a brewery.. we asked if they brewed the beer on the premises and was told yes in the back room… odd because most breweries I’ve been too you usually see barrels this was totally a restaurant environment not a brewery . I then thought the menu was pricey for pub food but we’re isn’t these day’s we ordered an appetizer that was decent but they were lacking on the cheese that went with the appetizer, had to ask for more which they lacked on giving a little extra like you were uncomfortable asking for more, we then we ordered four sandwich meals average $17 each four came out but mine was wrong so they had to redo it… it took more time that my family was done with their meals… our waitress who was nice just kept saying another 2 minutes another 2 minutes then it felt like she was avoiding our table . She did offer me a beer for my waiting which I refused because I was just not happy by the time my meal came out when my family was completely done with their meals at this time I had no desire to eat my sandwich…I guess my biggest complaint is the waitress never offered to comp my meal or have a manager come over and apologize I actually had to asked the waitress to comp my meal because the time I waited was absolutely Unacceptable she did comp my meal however I should not have to ask for this , the quality of the food was just OK. I hate to complain about restaurants that are trying to be established but until I hear different I will not be going back. Quality was just ok and service did not take responsibility for the kitchen I felt that they just didn’t...
Read moreIt’s not easy for me to write this review, because I really wanted to like this place. I love craft beers and love supporting local businesses, but our visit over the weekend was highly disappointing. I ordered a flight of beers, and probably would’ve ordered a 2nd flight but our server was very inattentive. I really enjoyed the Drunken Horsemen and the Deliberate Porter was pretty good, but the other two were just ok. The Cheddar & Ale dip had a weird consistency, almost like when you use too much flour in a gravy. It wasn’t very flavorful either and the carrot sticks served with it were brown. The cheese flatbread was greasy and soggy, not crisp like a flatbread pizza should be and it wasn’t very good. The Med Flatbread was also very soggy. I order this flavor combo often when I go out to eat and even make it at home sometimes. What makes this flavor combo so good is the saltiness of the prosciutto, the sweetness of the fig, and then the sharp bite of either Gorgonzola or blue cheese. The Med was missing this and instead was buried under a thick layer of greasy mozzarella-which in my opinion doesn’t work. There was hardly any prosciutto on the pizza, or maybe it was just buried in mozzarella. The Buffalo wings were ok. I asked our server if they could be made mild, his response was “they’re already mild.” I love wings, and spicy foods, but in my opinion these were not mild. I also didn’t finish them because my water glass was empty and I was out of beer as well, which goes back to our inattentive server. Also the carrots served with the wings were brown. I’m hoping the new owners work out the kinks, as like I said I really want to like this place. Not sure I’d be willing to give it a second chance...
Read moreCute new brewery/restaurant in NK! They have a variety of beers or tequila or cider drinks plus a nice range of food such as Flatbreads or tacos. We ordered some beer and enjoyed the popper nuggets with both ranch and raspberry sauce. We also ate the Buffalo Flatbread which was alright. We also had the key lime pie which was good but I thought it was quite small for $8. Overall experience I’d say was okay. Food came out fast and hot. However, other people's dishes kept coming out to our table and we would have to redirect them. The parking lot can be tight but the place is more spacious inside. Service is very slow. I know this is a new facility and they will probably get a better hang on things but our waitress was not personable, and very overwhelmed. It was hard to get to order another beer or meal. When the food was dropped off, the runner asked my husband if he wanted anything else? He said yes, another beer and she said we had to tell our waitress which took forever for her to come back to us. It would have also been nice to see a manager helping out their staff when they were slacking on getting everyone's orders. Everyone around us was trying to be served and looked like they were losing their patience. Again, it is a new facility and I think they will work it out and have a more seamless way of doing things. The beer was okay for us, but we are more of a NE IPA drinker which wasn't on the menu. They did offer military discount which is really nice and we would certainly come back in the future to see how they are doing. They do also have a kid's menu which is a plus. Overall, this is a nice addition to...
