This review is for their customer service - Dave and Darcy - I happen to use this location to send packages to my deployed brother, it's a out of the country kind of deal so it takes a few minutes longer to handle. Dave and I believe her name is Darcy are the sweetest most helpful people I encountered throughout the years of sending packages …
On the other hand there's Lori! that holds up the lines because she serves 1 customer per hour (I swear that's her target rate) she should have been retired because she's not helping anyways. I always have hard time getting anything done with her! Dave and Darcy jump in and save my day and that happened a few times already. She can't answer a question to save her own life, lost in her own mind! she needs to retire and leave this position for someone else that needs the job and might do better than her helping people. Next time I go in there and she's the only available casher again… you bet either I'll ask for some else to help me or just simply leave not worth wasting my time watching her...
Read moreI have to be very honest here, I'm extremely disappointed in my experience with this post office. If there is another office on your route, I highly recommend you go there. The two fine federal employees I interacted with took one look at my stack of large envelopes to mail, sighed, rolled their eyes and decided they weren't going to do their jobs. The job? Type in a zip code and print a sticker stamp. Repeat. All the addresses were labeled and did not require the full address be entered into the computer. As I've frequented post offices near me in Providence, I know this would take about 10 minutes. One employee said she couldn't type and the other said that was going to take forever. So she proceeded to spend 15 minutes counting out individual stamps. After waiting that long and the stamp calculations weren't adding up, I could not spend any more time and had to escape that terrible customer service experience. It was just lazy, the office was not busy. Save yourself the frustration and...
Read moreCustomer service is absolutely AWFUL. Who ever is working at this location refuses to answer any phone calls. I’ve had a package that has been “lost in transit” “missent” “forwarded” for over 10 days. Then my package is reported as “delivered” and is no where to be found! The worker in this location will pick the phone up and hang up. I have called 20+ times to speak to a person. I have been forwarded to this locations # by multiple other USPS branches that have no answers as to why the phone is not being answered properly. I understand it is busy, but it is in your job description to answer phones and provide customer care for the USPS customers. Absolutely terrible experience and extremely unprofessional….still have not received my package that was worth $$$. This branch should be reviewed by the USPS Board Members and employees should receive penalties for not providing their service professionally and...
