Hook Fish And Chicken — Restaurant in North Lauderdale

I had to wait a few days to write this review because I was extremely upset at the poor customer service. Hook has delicious food, no problems there. But I encountered extremely poor customer service by a young lady that had a VERY poor attitude to the point she slammed the drive thru window so hard in my face, I’m surprised it didn’t break. The manager (Ray) he said his name was, initially didn’t ask me what my concern was, he asked for my receipt. I had task him if he wanted to hear my complaint as the young lady seemed to be annoyed that I expressed she didn’t take my order correctly. His way of remedying the issue was to provide me with a free canned coke and apology. There didn’t seem to be an urgency on handling the issue with staff. Horrible and unacceptable...

This is like my sixth time eating from this location. In the past three months, I haven’t eaten from them because a friend of mine told me if I knew what they do with the chicken I wouldn’t eat there, so it kind of turned me off but tonight I was really craving the lemon pepper chicken because I love lemon pepper. And boy oh boy was I disappointed the chicken wings are so tiny they cut them up in pieces before I used to get the whole chicken and then on top of that the fries are steel as hell and the chickens smelled, and hard just not appetizing at all. I also ordered the jalapeño poppers my first time having them and they’re just so gross so to management you have lost a customer. I really wish I could get my money back but I don’t feel like leaving my house again...

I would like to start by saying I really do enjoy the food that I get from this establishment. The food is a 10 out of 10. The reason why I am giving them a two star rating is because not only should the food taste well but the customer service should be great. Today I went through the drive-through and everything was fine and dandy until I got to the window to pay, the lady took my card to complete the transaction and then she just got very rude with me. She had no reason to get slick out of the mouth, all she needed to do was simply and respectfully give instruction to park in one of their stand by spots.
