I was in the area and stumbled on this adorable pup and kid park. Hidden off of McNab Road this park is next to Pinewood Elementary School. The park once attracted litter and beer bottles. By adding the city's only dog park, the city was able to transform the park from an eyesore into a community asset.
The park has two areas, one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. The dog areas have obstacles and agility training to make it fun for the pups. On the day I visited both areas were filled with canines living their best lives.

The big dog park has obstacles, many poop bag areas, watering spots, grass, dirt, trees, etc. I have two small dogs, but I always bring them into the big dog area. Most of the dogs I have encountered in the morning are totally friendly to small dogs, but it is always best to be aware at all times.
The park will be closed for three months starting 6/10/19 in order to make renovations. I hope they keep most of the trees. I think they are planning on making the small dog...

In most of the other parks they have dog groups and they look at you as if the car belongs to them.
