This very laid-back eatery has the most unassuming, delicious menu! We went in for seafood, which for this natural-born Floridian, was absolutely scrumptious! The crab legs + oysters-on-the-half-shell were some of the best I’ve had in a long while (even having crab legs in Florida this summer.) The seafood platter (fried) was everything I was hoping for (with the exception of not having clam strips.) It comes with so much food, you really should split it between 2 people. The seafood chowder - Oh my goodness - SO GOOD. My son had the Chicken Parmesan (not pictured) which was a plate full of spaghetti and a thinly sliced, breadcrumb-coated fried chicken cutlet topped with really good marinara sauce. My husband had a Mexican Chicken Wrap and another guest had the Queso Burger which was unexpectedly amazing! I’m not a huge off-the-cuff burger fan, so I didn’t have high hopes, but it’s loaded with guacamole and queso and holy smokes, I’ll totally order it sometime! The service was great. Full bar and drink menu. (Price point is standard for seafood and burgers.) If they have dessert, I haven’t gotten that far yet. But do yourselves a huge favor and check this place out! It is TOP...
Read moreOur family really likes this place for the most part. The food is good and we are always delighted with the flavor profiles that are available. This place would get 5 stars but there are a couple of issues every time. Two small tacos for 15 bucks leaves you questioning their thought process since the tacosare good but you can get far more food for less money on other items in the menu. Out of the five or six times we have gone or ordered to go the fries have never been warm when we get them. And then there are weird things like the coconut shrimp just being an appetizer and them not having a meal basket. Their brussel sprouts are amazing, calamari is pretty good, but when you get into entrees it's a hit or a miss if you don't have any previous knowledge of the place. I would make this my one stop shop for seafood if they would rework their portions and their menu a bit. Right now it's only I we are in the mood for...
Read moreWas recommended this place by a friend. Read an article and decided to try it. The address in the article listed it on a ROAD not Blvd so my uber driver took me out into the middle of nowhere. Bad sign number 1. When I finally arrived I got a spot at the bar and started with the sauteed crab claws. They came out and were dry and salty. They would have been better served with melted butter than cocktail sauce. I then ordered chargrilled oysters, a kid in the kitchen brought me out raw oysters. I sent them back and then I was brought out grilled oysters that had not been cooked enough as the string parmesan cheese had not melted so the texture was not good. I then ordered the chowder and it could have been good if it wasn't for the salt. Finally I ordered beef tacos...and again too much salt. Too many kids in the kitchen too. Bad sign number 2. They need help. They did have my fave beer and several tv's if you want to...
