As a native New Yorker who was on the hunt for a no frills bagel, I can’t recommend this place enough! Their bagels are perfect in size, texture and taste! I lived in downtown NLR and would make the drive multiple times a week for my bagel fix 😂
I’ve moved but stand on this being the best bagel shop around Little Rock 💯 a great bagel should be able to stand on its own (maybe with some butter 🤣) and these do just that!
They do have a host of in house made cream cheeses as well which are also delicious! I honestly haven’t eaten anything here I didn’t enjoy. Including the scones. And I kinda hate scones.
Bummer I moved without the opportunity to say goodbye but really hoping they begin to ship their bagels at some point.
Also, shout out the everyone that works here! Always so welcoming, warm and friendly. Miss you all already!
Stop what you’re doing and go get these bagels! They...
Read morePlace was a little disorganized on my trip. Coffee took forever. Then they ran out. Dropped one of my sandwiches and have to had it remade. There appeared to be a lot of chaos going on behind the counter. But they were busy and it was a Sunday so they get a pass feom me this time. This may have been a one time experience and the what I will assume was the owner lady was very apologetic.
As for the food. The bagels were very dense. Which wasn't a bad thing just different. The cream cheese smear was very good. I will say one bagel sandwich will fill you up. Food is solid
The place is small. Not a lot of seating inside. I would suggest coming early on a weekend if you want a seat inside. They have plenty of outside seating but on a day like the day I went where it was raining outside wasn't a option.
I'll try them again. If you are in the area...
Read moreFantastic!!! We finally made time to come over here, and man, we're so glad we did! You walk in, and it smells fabulous. They have SO MANY bagel choices. My husband got The Lox Bagel (salmon, capers, tomato, onions, and cream cheese on a garlic bagel), and I got The King (bacon, peanut butter, and strawberry jam on a maple bacon bagel). SO GOOD! I also got a coffee and noticed they use ice made of coffee, so your iced coffee doesn't get watered down! Coffee was very strong and kinda basic, but no big deal. We also took advantage of their day old bagels they sell for about a $1/each. The bagels are HUGE, so it's worth the price! The place was very clean, everyone was friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food....
