New Great Wall — Restaurant in North Mankato

Worst place to go eat. We were there at dinner time and there was little to no food available to eat. On top of that the food that was there looked to have been there for hours. My daughter loves noodles and when she tried them she said " dad these are gross" she even put sweet and sour sauce on them and that didn't even help. When I asked if more food was going to be prepared the waitress asked like what?.... Isn't the point of a buffet to have a selection of options? If I only wanted one thing I would have went to a restaurant. This is one place I will never go back to. Getting stuck with paying full price and only. Getting one plate of food is rediclious! Crunchy fried chicken even under all of the sauce, super flavorful sauces, perfectly tender vegetables, and fantastic fried rice. Particularly like the roast pork fried rice, which they offer as an option with all of their combo meals, so they must be proud of it too! Love the cream cheese wontons. Perfectly crispy on the outside, velvety cream on the inside that's a savory-sweet delight. Pairs perfectly with the offered sauce (I think plum sauce). I can't do spice so I appreciate they have several options without: my go to is the sesame chicken, also a house special. Staff are welcoming and attentive, location was clean and cool in the hot weather. Zero stars if I could. I went in and she said buffets 10.25 and I said that's a good deal! Then we went In and there were some empty trays with no food and all dried up! My girlfriend and I looked at each other like "what the heck is this" Worse experience ever! The worker, her face knew that their buffet food was no good at all! My girlfriend and I then just ate half a plate and hoping that she knows we barely ate because there was no food that she will make us not pay or at least just pay for one of us! But instead she made us pay the full $20! And had the audacity to say "not that hungry huh?" Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! All these reviews about its good and stuff, it is all BS. A cheeseburger from McDonald's would've been more satisfying than this nasty...
