Subway — Restaurant in North Miami

Went to this location today and it was one person in front of me so the worker was completing his sandwich and proceeded to check him out, she took off her gloves and cashed him out. While she was waiting for him to complete the transaction with his credit card she scratched her scalp on her head and stroked through her hair (which were in braids), rang him out and proceeded to walk over to the gloves and attempt to put them on. Mind you they have a sink right next to the cash register and one would assume it's for the purpose of once you rang a sale and either touch money/card/register its easy to wash your hands and proceed to handle the gloves. I asked her if she was going to wash her hands and she said I'm going to put on gloves. I said but you just scratched your head, ran your fingers through your braids, and rang someone out and in order for you to put the gloves on you touch the outside of the gloves that you are about to touch my meat and veggies with. I could not believe that she told me that her hair wasn't dirty 😯😮😳... I asked if someone else could make my sandwich so she went to get someone else to make the sandwiches... After second thoughts I left the location and I decided to go home and make my own subs... Smh I can say that I will never go to this location again, but I will make sure I pay attention whenever I decide to visit...

I always go out of my way to compliment people who still have a desire to work especially during these trying times. I want to thank the young man who assisted me with my order and who was having a bad morning and him not showing me the type of service I would have expected in regard to his attitude. I almost cancelled the order, but choose to forgive him because the order was not for me, but for someone in a nursing home. A rule of thumb when providing service to ANYONE is to treat them with the same kindness and respect or even more that you would expect yourself. Something I practice daily. Also you never know who God will use to bless you. Dear God you know what this young man is going through in his life, I pray that you would intervene into his situation and give him clarity of thought in finding the solution to his discomfort. I pray that you would give him your strength to deal with his problem (s), wisdom, discernment and your peace that passes all understanding in Jesus name...

Terrible customer service !

I went to this restaurant April 26 and had a terrible experience. The employees were all talking to each other when I arrived, which I didn't mind because there were no other customers. However, when I walked up to the counter, it was like I was interrupting their conversation.

A bald man who seemed very impatient asked me if I spoke Spanish or English. I am French and do not speak either language fluently, so I tried to explain this to him. However, he cut me off and asked me to choose one of the two languages.

The entire experience was incredibly frustrating and made me feel very unwelcome. I understand that working in a fast food restaurant can be tough, but there is no excuse for such terrible customer service. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
