Oooooweeeeeeeeee….. let me start with that word first!! My friend and I drove there yesterday (so you know it’s good when I go ahead and write the review … lol). So we decided to get there for 12pm (at their opening time on Sunday). When we arrived, there was already a line of people. No sweat. We will wait for good (and I saw a grocery store next to it… lol… so I was in heaven). We got in line at 12:07pm. We waited and then they started letting people in (little by little so that it doesn’t get too overcrowded). I had already reviewed the menu so when we finally got our order taken around 12:50, I ordered the catfish nuggets with sweet potatoes and Mac. My friend ordered fish and shrimp combo with collards and Mac. The young lady taking orders even asked her would she prefer catfish or swai (woooooooooo… wait…. Can you all recommend all places do this? Lol… because I only eat catfish). Anyhow…. We were told it would take 25-30 minutes for fried food. Me, personally, I don’t care about waiting on fresh food…. I will wait an hour if I have too… as long as I wait and I get some hot food. When we received our orders, the young lady bagging the food had the BEST customer service (young lady with the baby photo on her chain). Then the young lady that took our order and one of the other ladies suggested drinks they prefer… I’m soooo glad I went with the order takers suggestion because I don’t like fruit punch (in the code red’s drinks). My friend got code red and said it was delicious 😋 Chile…. They aren’t afraid to place the hot food in one bag and cold items in separate bag 👏! Teach these “chained restaurants” a thang or two (yep, I meant a thang, not thing lol). When I got back to the car, we couldn’t help but stop and take photos first! We ate IN THE CAR… and boyyyyyyyy…. Was it good!!! My friend kept saying she was glad I picked this place to try and that we MUST Come back! I’m not sure about the other reviewers but the Mac was Mac’in, the sweet potatoes were sweet’in and the batter on our food was lord have mercy GOODDDDD!! I’m a southern girl so I like flavor, I love seasoning and I approve them!! A STAMP of approval. The juice was juice’in!! On top of all that, that banana pudding… lord…. Lord… I went back in JUST to purchase more banana pudding and decided to get a cake too!! When I walked back in the ladies immediately asked what had been wrong with my food (but in a nice and caring, concerned manner). THAT’S customer service!!Let me just say WE WILL BE BACKKKKK!!! Last but NEVER least (because we save the best statement for last)- it’s a black owned and established business that is CLEAN and has great service!! Granted, I eat at any place (as long as they don’t appear on dirty dining 😂 and they offer the food I like) but I love to shot out these establishments that have to sometimes work twice as hard for recognition! Chef, you “put your whole food in there and left it!” I made sure to tell the ladies everything was good because great praise is just as worthy as criticism!! Check them out!!

Nice and friendly. Just have to have time to wait, but it's worth the wait.

I’ve been ordering from Treatsandeatz weekly for the past few weeks, both through Uber Eats and in person, and unfortunately, the consistency just isn’t there. Nine out of ten times, something is missing from my order, whether it’s sauces, sides, or desserts. They don’t adjust the charge; they simply leave items out. Even when visiting in person, if I don’t double-check my order, something is often forgotten. On top of that, their packaging is careless and unsafe. Out of all the times I’ve ordered, they’ve properly sealed the bag, stapled or secured for safety, maybe twice. Every other time, the bag is left open and loose, with no protection or regard for food safety during delivery. The food itself is good, but customer service and attention to detail are seriously lacking. They need to do a better job checking orders and properly sealing bags for Uber Eats. I will never order from them through Uber Eats again. If you want the full experience, I recommend going in person, arriving early, and checking your bag before you leave. Even then, pack your patience. Not sure, but before I ordered this same meal, and it came with two catfish, in this meal, it only came with one catfish. I will have to verify that when I go in person also my banana pudding was missing and we all know how you have to fight with uber eats to get your money back, which they did not give me all my money back for what was missing.

Extremely disappointed, I walk into the restaurant. There are six people waiting. Four are sitting at different tables and one person at the counter waiting patiently, And United States postal worker at the counter/ register waiting for the counterperson to take his order? I stand next to him. While there I can see the steam table with lids covering food items, however, the food lids have different types of food droppings on top, not a good look, the lady behind the counter, says nothing, No greeting, no welcome, nothing, she’s not even taking to the the postman’s order, next she turns her back to look at a check, maybe it was payday? I have no idea. Secondly, she takes out her phone to pair with Bluetooth to play music in the restaurant, finally then she turns to take the postman order, while at the cash register, I asked the young lady if she had a menu? She stops completely, grabs a remote, turns on two monitors, and quietly returns to finish the order for the postman. The menu is at absolutely hideous. Lots of fried items, Oxtails and turkey wings $28, meatloaf special Thursdays, only cornbread dressing, Saturdays, and Sunday grilled or fried seafood. Where am I Captain hooks? In the meantime a lady appears Speaking to the one person waiting at the counter apparently they had a catering order and she says, “my dear. This is very hot.” I hope your car is near, no worry, I’ll have someone assist you getting it out. And she says very distinctly to all the staff, “come upfront,” I need everybody upfront to start cleaning immediately because the place is way too messy! There were black 2-go boxes on the counter and she asked are these ready and she started calling numbers and people began to leave their tables and come up to claim their orders! So if you recall, when I walked-in, it was just the postman and myself at the counter, now, five more people have walked in. I’m still at the counter. The young lady behind the counter finished the postman’s order, does not take my order, has not, does not acknowledge me and I’m the one who asked about the menu, I hate to assume, but I guess everyone else knows the menu by hard, they’re regulars, perhaps they have a built-in following and not interested in any new customers? The young lady then proceeds to take someone else’s order? Not to argue or say that I was next, if you’re that forgetful, you don’t need my money and I don’t need fried food, catfish, shrimp, or $30.00 oxtails and turkey wings? I immediately walk-out. And believe….. tomorrow’s...

Subject: Disappointed with Today’s Experience

Lying in my bed, I saw that the food truck would be in Broward today at 1 PM. Excited to finally try the food everyone’s been raving about, I jumped up and headed down to Broward Blvd. I arrived at 1:15, only to be told that another message had been sent out pushing the time to 1:30. However, 1:30 passed—no truck. 1:45—still no truck. Finally, the truck arrived at 1:51, and then additional time was needed for setup, making it past 2 PM before service even began.

A line of customers had already formed, and a few left before the truck even arrived. I placed my order, paid, and waited. As I stood there, I watched multiple people who ordered both before and well after me receive their food. After a long wait, I approached the window to check on my order, only to be told, “You should’ve been came up.” No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing. I then had to wait an additional 30 minutes for my food.

By this time, I had spent three hours waiting—between the truck’s late arrival, waiting in line, ordering, and then waiting for my food. Not once was there an apology or any effort to make up for the inconvenience. I was the only person still waiting from the first group that arrived. Clearly, my order was mishandled, and the lack of professionalism was disappointing.

I drove 30 minutes to support your business, and while the food was good, the customer service was unacceptable—especially considering the higher price point. I’m always willing to pay more for quality, but I also expect respect for my time and a level of professionalism. Had there been any effort to acknowledge the mistakes, I would have considered giving it another chance. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won’t...
