I highly recommend this place! It's a very chill, low-key spot with a huge outdoor patio seating area (you seat yourself) with lovely views of the river. There's plenty of shade under some large, beautiful mossy type of trees. We were there on a Sunday, and they actually had live music when we went. I was worried since I didn't see other children and we had my 7 year old with us, but the music was really good and was suitable for families to enjoy. My son actually loved the music ( it was a man and a woman, 2 person band that did covers of classic rock and other old popular songs). He was clapping along with songs and dancing in his seat. The best part of the whole dinner was that he was enjoying himself so much, he didn't ask for or look at his game device once the entire time, which is highly unusual. But more than that, I was really taken aback when he told me he loved this place so much, he wants to celebrate his birthday there!
The food was great although the menu was nothing spectacular or fancy, and consisted of more typical dishes like different hot sandwiches, burgers, chicken, and limited seafood items.
The only gripe I'd have about this place is that my SO is a vegetarian and they didn't have much to choose from that didn't include meat. We'd hoped that they would have maybe some locally caught fish since they were so close to the river, but my SO had to settle for butterfly shrimp which he still ended up enjoying. We had fried zucchini as an appetizer, I ordered a turkey melt, and my son got a cheeseburger. All of the food was really good! Their margaritas were made perfect, (although wish they had Patron). But we were just grateful they were able to serve alcohol, since it was Sunday and we were really craving some margaritas. Our server was awesome, she was attentive and really friendly! Overall, we enjoyed the whole experience for sure! We were recommended to check this place out by chance, before deciding to leave another restaurant nearby (only because they couldn't serve liquor, had super limited beer options, and about 6 items available on their "menu"). A couple of friendly strangers at the table next to us, overheard us talking about looking for another place to eat close by, so they told us about Patios and explained how to get there. We probably wouldn't have found it otherwise. It definitely was perfect for us though, and only wish I could thank them for recommending this place! We will be going back here again soon,...
Read moreWent here for lunch today this is our 3rd time. Food was good, wait staff excellent and atmosphere is fun. We like to eat at outside places because we like to bring our dog along too. We have a Rottweiler and she loves people and other dogs. Todays review only gets 3 stars because while walking in through the bar to access the outside area a man sitting at the corner of the bar with a STAFF shirt, glasses and a Patriots hat decided to be a jerk and immediately upon seeing our dog yells out......you better hold on to that thing really tight. My wife and I look at him and then to each other and are like " what the hell ??" We almost turned around and left but we continued outside, sat down and had a nice lunch. The wait staff asked if our dog could have some water and even asked if she could have bacon too but we don't feed her that. Still awesome for asking !! Don't know if this guy was the owner just sitting and getting drunk with the patrons or who he was but trust me....We are well aware on how to take care of a large breed dog and would never bring her out to a public place if we had any concern of her causing a problem. I'm sure he didn't say this to the couple with the poodle sitting in the same area when they came through. This is called dog breed discrimination. Any dog can cause problems "sir" I'm sorry our baby was too scary looking for you today. I assure you she behaved perfectly and probably better than most children that come there. Thanks to the wait staff outside for making the rest of our time there better !!!! Almost forgot...ya'll show sushi on your online menu but was told today you don't have...
Read moreWe went in Tuesday evening for my daughter's bday with friends and our & their families. It was a small wait for a party of 11, and it was very busy because Tuesday was karaoke night (every Tues). It was loud and annoying in the beginning, but the friendly staff, the beautiful scenery, and pleasant customers made it fade into the background once we were settled and ordered. We even had fun singing along and watching the fun be had...dancing and everyone being so friendly and relaxed. And, even though they were busy, they never made us feel rushed or like they were under pressure. My father is elderly and uses a walker, and everyone is so patient and kind... staff & customers alike. And that means a lot to me and my small family of 5. The food was excellent and reasonably prices. 110 with generous tips, appetizer, and they comped the cheesecake for her bday. The Ruben was the best I've had since living down south! Highly recommend, and we will certainly be going back very soon. Even my young son liked it and never felt the need to ask for his tablet, which is a miracle in and of itself. The only negatives are that there isn't a ton of parking, but they have several golf carts they send out and about to take you to & from, so it isn't that much of an issue. And, though they have ramps for the handicapped, there was only 1 ♿️ parking spot. There are also stairs to the customer restrooms, but there is also a small half-bath with no stairs that was clean and fine for my mom and dad to use. I'm not sure if it's considered staff or for the bar, but nonetheless, it was...
