I went to McDonald’s on Tuesday after my daughters swim class. I ordered a breakfast #3 but since my daughter didn’t want the sandwich I asked it to be everything in the sandwich, just in a container.
We don’t eat in vehicles so after my 20 minute drive home and getting my 2 kids in the house, we realized we didn’t get the biscuit. I called McDonald’s and told the girl what happened. She asked for my order number but I didn’t have one since I also didn’t get a receipt. She said I could come back and get a biscuit but I live 20 minutes away and only come to N Ogden for swim lessons. She said to let someone know next time I came and they’d give us a biscuit.
I couldn’t make it back to McDonald’s til Thursday (yesterday). I ordered food for my daughter and got to the pickup window and let the employee know about the biscuit debacle and she went and got a “manager” who told me that he would lose his job over giving me a biscuit because it had been more than a day since the situation. Not quite sure why 1 day would be ok but not 2 days.
Essentially, McDonald’s has stolen from me because I paid for a product and did not receive what I paid for. I actually loathe McDonald’s but get food there occasionally for my daughter. Not like McDonald’s will be affected by me not going back, however this is the second time in a months time that I have paid for items and didn’t receive my full order. It makes you wonder if that’s a tactic McDonald’s is using to save money by not giving full orders.

I'll share what may change if too many 'know'; this place handles mobile orders so FAST!! Never will I do a drive thru line again. I placed THREE separate orders in one visit.
Each came amazingly fast...before what would have occurred if I'd driven thru on a Saturday 2:30 p.m.. The same gentleman delivered to my car each time; he was most pleasant about my learning/discovery experience. Said his wife ONLY does mobile ordering.
The app also saves the way you like to customize your order so repeats (even weeks or months later) your preferences are speedy and to McD perfection.
I did a little more experimenting on my third order and experienced a double cheeseburger with bacon, customizing double: katsup, mustard, pickles; adding shredded lettuce, 2 slices Roma tomatoes and mayo. So glad that is saved for a repeat later.
Did I say awesome McD experience?

Since I'm signed up for notices/phone coupons, I also received a free large mocha frappe.
Yummy day (the spicy chicken sandwich was on the $2.00 menu.) Nice heat with icy frappe.

Read moreIf you're going, go during breakfast hours only. There is one incredibly sweet lady who works the window in the morning, she's the only reason I would give this location even one star. The food is also always cold and stale unless you get breakfast. The instances I've had with completely and horribly rude staff is way more prevalent, unfortunately. To the point where one employee in particular completely lost it on me in front of my kids and other patrons because I was trying to pay with a card when they said it MAY not work but I could try and see because I didn't have cash and the kids were so excited to eat and play, just because that way they would see I tried and couldn't do it and devastation would be averted. I did nothing to this person, and she had me in tears.The manager was ther watching this person actually yell at me and did nothing to intervene. When I reached out to management about it, the info basically fell on deaf ears. Which is fine, whatever, there's a million others out there.
