I usually love my experiences with Malley's. They usually always have a young staff working that is not as professional but they are usually nice and do the basics of taking an order, providing the desserts including pretzels and water. Today was an awful experience. Our waitress was new so she had no idea how to answer any ? we asked. She did know know what ice cream had what and just said she was not sure to everything. She wrote down our order but completely messed it up by giving us the wrong ice cream. Then we kindly asked if I can get my correct order. Another waitress tried to address it and confirmed what I wanted however even though the ice cream flavors were correct she made an error by putting hot fudge. I basically received a cup with a bunch of fudge and runny whipped cream. They never check on us so I can never tell her until we had to ask for her attention to get a lid for my daughter's ice cream. I ended up telling her even though she did not realize I barely made a dent in the sundae because I don't like hot fudge. She offered to remove the ice cream from my bill or make me a new one. She did neither. When I got to the register the original girl cashing us out asked me how everything was so I told her the truth. She said oh that's because there girls you had wait on your table are new. Well I understand that and I was never rude, not once, however they should of removed it off my bill. A girl nearby her rudely said she would remove it. She also made dirty looks when wr asked for the sundae to be corrected....
Read moreThere are two ice cream parlors in the Greater Cleveland Metro area that I really love and this is one of them. Malley's is a candy company known for its chocolate. A longtime Cleveland Business that has stores all over the Cleveland Metro area, but only a handful of them actually have ice cream too. And ice cream that can be covered in toppings like hot fudge or candied pecans to pieces of chocolate manufactured in their local candy factory is a huge bonus. This store is unique in the fact that it has a carousel in the middle of the parlor set with tables and chairs. The carousel rotates exceptionally slow and you probably wouldn't even notice it but you have a constantly changing view of the parlor. Of course there is other seating available if you don't wish to be on the rotating carousel. There is also a candy shop featuring one of Malley's greatest options, a plain paper sack filled with chocolate imperfections. These bags are filled with all different types of chocolate manufactured by Malley's that might not have the most perfect chocolate drizzle on top or perhaps they weren't coated just perfect, but whatever the defect they're still...

I had an ice cream cone - I was very pleased that they introduced a new flavor of dairy free ice cream: cookies and cream! It was deliciously creamy and rich tasting! And I was in a cheerful mood so I asked the server to give my ice cream eyes, which they did, so my ice cream looked very cute! A very fun and...
